HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Patumahoe Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
PATUMAHOE DOMAIN, MANUKAU COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District being Section S.W. Portion 13, Parish of Waiau, Block IX, Drury Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 22 acres and 20 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 619·4 links; towards the east by W.M. 13, 3544·2 links ; towards the south by N.W. 12, 608 links ; and towards the west by a public road, 3669·3 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1337, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Validating Proceedings under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” respecting Loan of £7,000 proposed to be raised by Gonville Town Board.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of October, 1909.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Gonville Town Board in or about the month of December, one thousand nine hundred and seven, proposed to raise a loan of seven thousand pounds for the provision of a water-supply, drainage, and for general street-improvements within the said Gonville Town District : And whereas the notice required by section eight of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” as amended by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1908,” was duly published once in each week for four successive weeks in the Wanganui Herald, a newspaper circulating in the district : And whereas the last publication of the said notice required by section eight was on the sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight : And whereas the meeting of ratepayers to consider the proposal was summoned by published notice on the sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, for the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, of which later date seven clear days’ notice was therefore not given as required by law : And whereas a poll was taken for the said proposal on the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and the proposal was carried : And whereas, notwithstanding the irregularity in holding the said meeting earlier than seven days after publication of the notice thereof, it appears that the ratepayers have not been misled thereby, and it is expedient to validate the same :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and twenty-one of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the said meeting held as aforesaid shall be deemed and taken to have been as properly convened and held as if it had been convened and held in accordance with the provisions of section eight aforesaid, and that the poll shall be deemed and taken to have been valid, and that the proceedings relative to the said loan shall not be called in question by reason only of the said irregularity.

Site for the Disposal of Nightsoil or Refuse, Winton.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance of the provisions of section sixty-two of “The Public Health Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby consent to the Council of the Borough of Winton setting apart that portion of the lands belonging to the Corporation of the said borough, being part of Municipal Reserve, Section 37, Winton Town East, as a site for the deposit and disposal of nightsoil or refuse.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not ; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” aforesaid, declare my intention to change the purpose of the reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto from that named therein to that named in the second column thereof.
