LOCALITY AND ACCESS.
The block is situated about twenty-six miles from Ngaruawahia Railway-station at the nearest point and about nine miles from Raglan at nearest point. The main access road from Ngaruawahia into Mangati Village is practically completed, some twenty-five or twenty-six miles being a metalled cart-road and the balance a formed cart-road. The Tamatakoi Road is also in course of construction as a cart-road. The main access road from deep water at Raglan Harbour is well forward, and is being formed also as a cart-road. The work of constructing the cart-road to give access to sections from the Kirikiri Landing is also being put in hand.
