All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 24908 and 24909, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.

A P R O C L A M A T I O N.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road-diversion in connection with a railway:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinafter specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of a road-diversion in connection with the Kawakawa-Grahamtown Railway.

Land taken for the Purpose of widening Willis Street, in the City of Wellington.

A P R O C L A M A T I O N.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of widening the public street known as Willis Street, in the City of Wellington:

And whereas the Council of the City of Wellington has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of widening the above-mentioned street, and shall vest in the the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.

A P R O C L A M A T I O N.

WHEREAS by section twenty-one of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor may at any time, by Proclamation duly gazetted, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect to the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:

And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for a certain public work, to wit, for the purpose of a post-office, Ferry Road, Christchurch:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a post-office.
