POHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Council of the County of Pohangina hereby resolves, by way of special order, to borrow the sum of £80, being 10 per centum on the original loan of £800, for re-erection of Pohangina Bridge and approach thereto. The interest and sinking fund on the said loan shall not exceed £3 10s. per centum per annum, payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until such loan is fully paid off.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Council of the County of Pohangina hereby resolves, by way of special order, as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £80, authorised to be raised by the Council of the County of Pohangina, under the above-mentioned Act, for the re-erection of the Pohangina Bridge and the approach thereto, the said Council of the County of Pohangina hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Awahou and Tamaki Ridings; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest of such loan being £3 10s. per centum per annum.

EKETAHUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.
I HEREBY give notice, under section 13 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Ekatahuna Borough held, under the provisions of the above-named Act, at the Exchange Buildings, Ekatahuna, on Monday, the 16th day of August, 1909, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., on the proposal “That the Ekatahuna Borough Council raise a loan of £2,300 for the purpose of refunding to the General Account moneys expended on the electric-light installation in excess of the loan of £3,000 already authorised by the ratepayers, and of completing and fitting out the installation of the electric-light plant, and of extending the public and private lighting mains,” the number of votes recorded respectively was: For the proposal, 110; against the proposal, 20; informal, nil.
I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.

Result of Poll.
In the matter of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”
I HEREBY give notice that on the 6th day of August, 1909, a proposal was submitted by the Hunter ville Town Board to the ratepayers of the Hunter ville Town District for raising a special loan of £1,500 for the purpose of completing and extending works for the supply of water to the Hunter ville Town District, and works for the drainage and sewerage in the said town district, and that the number of votes recorded for and against the proposal was as follows: For the proposal, 106; against the proposal, 14.
I therefore declare the above proposal duly carried.

In the matter of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”
I hereby give notice that on the 6th day of August, 1909, proposal was submitted by the Hunter ville Town Board to the ratepayers of the Hunter ville Town District for raising a special loan of £500 for the purpose of supplying a mechanical filter for the water reservoir of the Hunter ville Town District, and that the number of votes recorded for and against the proposal is as follows: For the proposal, 92; against the proposal 27; informal, 1.
I therefore declare the above proposal duly carried.

I hereby give notice that on the 6th day of August, 1909, a proposal was submitted by the Hunter ville Town Board to the ratepayers of the Hunter ville Town District for raising a special loan of £1,000 for the purpose of providing for the lighting of the Hunter ville Town District, and that the number of votes recorded for and against the proposal is as follows: For the proposal, 91; against the proposal, 28; informal, 1.
I therefore declare the proposal duly carried.
