MOA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order striking Rate to pay the Interest on Special Loan of £50 for Mana Road.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £50, authorised to be raised by consent of the ratepayers interested, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of rebuilding a bridge across the Mako Stream, Mana Road, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mana Road No. 2 Special-rating District, comprising Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19, 20, Block VII, Huiroa; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I certify that the above special order was duly passed in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1908,” at a special meeting of the Moa Road Board held on Saturday, the 20th day of February, 1909, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Board held on Saturday, the 17th day of April, 1909.

OKATO ROAD BOARD.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Okato Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Okato Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming, culverting, and metalling the Dover Road from the Main South Road in a south-easterly direction, the said Okato Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Dover Road Special-rating area, comprising Sections 52, 47, 66, 72, 56, 61, 64, 84, 89, 98, 80, 71, 78, 79, 83, 88, 93, 97, 103, 104, 107, 128, 40, 45, 55, 60, 46, 50, 51, 34, 65, 70, 36, 41, Block, VI; Sections 17, 19, 16, part Sections 168, 12, and 11, Block VII; Sections 4 and 5, Block XI, Cape Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until loan is fully paid off; and it is intended to pay the first year’s interest and expenses of raising the said loan out of the loan-money.

STRATFORD COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
NOTICE is hereby given of the institution of a special order.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Stratford County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of defraying the cost of forming, bridging, culverting, and metalling the Barclay Road continuously in a southerly direction from its junction with the Pembroke Road as far as the money raised will allow of, the said Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 4d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the North Barclay Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 9, 10, 11, and 51 of Block IV, Kaupokonui Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The resolution instituting the above special order was passed at a special meeting of the Stratford County Council held on the 21st day of July, 1909, and was confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 18th day of August, 1909.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Stratford County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of defraying the cost of re-forming and metalling the New Road from the Ohura Road to the Kopua Road, and re-forming and metalling the Kopua Road from the New Road to the end of the dray-road formation, the said Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the New and Kopua Roads Special-rating District, comprising Allotments 8 of Subs. 9 and 11, 7 of Subs. 6 and 9, 5 of Subs. 6, 8, and 9, the south-eastern 50 acres of Allotment 4 of Subs. 5 and 8, and the north-western 83 acres 2 roods 11 perches of Allotment 6 of Subs. 9 and 11, of Toko A and B Blocks, Block IV, Ngaiere Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
