SCHEDULE.

Benger Riding.—Starting from junction of roads near Trigonometrical Station B.B., thence in an easterly direction along road-line to corner of boundary-fence between allotments numbered 13 and 14, Moa Flat Estate; thence easterly along north boundaries of allotments numbered 13 and 12, Moa Flat Estate, to north-east corner of allotment numbered 12, Moa Flat Estate; thence in a north-easterly direction across allotment numbered 4, Moa Flat Estate, to south-west corner of allotment numbered 5, Moa Flat Estate; thence in an easterly and northerly direction along boundary of allotment numbered 5, Moa Flat Estate, to north boundary of allotment numbered 48, Moa Flat Estate; thence in an easterly direction along north boundary of allotment numbered 48 to main road-line, and across road to south-west corner of Section 2, Block II, Benger District; then north along road-line to north-west corner of said Section 2, then north-east to a point in centre of Clutha River, Block II, Benger District; thence northerly up centre of Clutha River to starting-point as before gazetted.

Beaumont Riding.—All that area in the Provincial District of Otago starting at junction of roads opposite Trigonometrical Station B.B., Moa Flat Estate; thence in an easterly direction along the boundary of Benger Riding as altered above to centre of Clutha River, Block II, Benger District; thence in a southerly direction down the centre of Clutha River; and thence following the boundary as before gazetted to the starting-point opposite Trigonometrical Station B.B.

I hereby certify that the foregoing special order has been made in accordance with law, and that all the requirements of “The Counties Act, 1908,” have been complied with.

Special Order made by the Moa Road Board, County of Taranaki.

THE following special order, made by the Moa Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

MOA ROAD BOARD.

Special Order striking a Rate of ½d. in the Pound as Security for a Loan of £100 for the Motukawa Road.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, authorised to be raised by consent of the ratepayers interested, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a tunnel over the Makara Stream, Motukawa Road, the said Moa Road Board makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Motukawa Road No. 2 Special-rating District, comprising Sections 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, Block VII, Huiroa; Subs. 2, 3, 4, of Section 1, Block III, Huiroa; and Sections 3, 4, 5, Block VIII, Huiroa: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off; to pay out of such loan the cost of raising it.

I certify that the above special order was duly passed in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1908,” at a special meeting of the Moa Road Board held on Saturday, the 20th day of March, 1909, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Board held on Saturday, the 24th day of April, 1909.

Special Order made by the Eden Terrace Road Board, County of Eden.

EDEN TERRACE ROAD BOARD.

Special Order made by the Eden Terrace Road Board, County of Eden.—Greenwood Street Special District Rate.

THAT the Eden Terrace Road Board, under section 18 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” do pay out of the General Fund of the Board the interest on the Board’s debt (£405 10s. 5d.) in respect to the Greenwood Street Special District Loan for a term of ten years from the date of special order taking effect.

The above was made by special order passed at a special meeting of the Eden Terrace Road Board held on the 6th July, 1909, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Board on the 3rd August, 1909.

The common seal of the Inhabitants of the Eden Terrace Road District was affixed hereto on the 3rd day of August, 1909, in the presence of—

WAIPipi ROAD DISTRICT.

THE following special order was made at a special meeting of the Waipipi Road Board held on Saturday, the 13th February, 1909, and confirmed at a meeting held on Saturday, the 13th March, 1909:—

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Waipipi Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £195, authorised to be raised by the Waipipi Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for completing the metalling of the main Waipipi Road and metalling or shelling the Waipipi Creamery—Wharf Road, the said Waipipi Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓d. in the pound upon the rateable property in No. 4 Subdivision, Waipipi Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above special order was made in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”
