5th Battalion, Wellington (Centre or Ruahine) Rifle Volunteer Band,

with headquarters at Masterton. Date of acceptance, 21st May, 1909.

Special Order made by the Opotiki County Council altering Ridings.

THE following special order, made by the Opotiki County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Counties Act, 1908.”

OPOTIKI COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order altering Ridings.

RESOLVED, That, for the purpose of adjustment of representation in the Opotiki County Council, the number of ridings in the Opotiki County and the names and boundaries thereof be altered as follows:—

  1. Ohiwa Riding.—Constituting the present Ohiwa Riding.
  2. Waiotahi Riding.—Bounded on the north by the sea, on the east by the Waioeka and Koranga Rivers, on the south by the county boundary, and on the west by the Ohiwa Riding and the county boundary.
  3. Waioeka Riding.—Bounded on the north by the sea; on the east by the Otara and Pakihi Rivers to the north-western corner of Section 24, Block II, Motu Survey District, thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 14, thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 149A; on the south by the county boundary; and on the west by the Waiotahi Riding.
  4. Otara Riding.—Bounded on the north by the sea, on the east by the county boundary, on the south by the county boundary, and on the west by the Waioeka Riding.

I, Frederick William Leonard Kirk, Clerk to the Opotiki County Council, hereby certify that the above special order was duly made in accordance with the provisions of section 97 of “The Counties Act, 1908.”

TUAPEKA COUNTY COUNCIL.

In the matter of section 28 of “The Counties Act, 1908”; and in the matter of a resolution to alter the boundaries of and between Beaumont and Benger Ridings, in the County of Tuapeka, for the purpose of rectifying the description thereof.

A Special Order made by the Tuapeka County Council on the 14th day of May, 1909, and confirmed at a Subsequent Meeting of the said Council held on the 9th day of July, 1909.

RESOLVED, That alteration of boundaries of and between Beaumont and Benger Ridings be and the same is hereby made, as set forth in the Schedule hereinafter written,
