And I apply for a renewal, under “The Mining Act, 1891,” its amendments, and the regulations applicable, of the renewable license held in my name for the said Water-race No. 1893, 8th March, 1893, with right to take, divert, and use water as aforesaid, this application being on behalf of and in trust for Charles Thomas William Murcott, of Landing Creek, Farmer, who purchased from me and is the owner in fee-simple of the said homestead and land, with all the rights, easements, ways, and waters appurtenant thereto (inclusive of the said water-race rights), and in whose name I request that the license for renewal aforesaid may issue. The race passes through land held under renewable lease by Clifford O’Regan, and also freehold land owned by James Billett, and crosses the Reefton–Westport Government Road, a county road, and the Government railway.
Number and ante-date of miner’s right: 71206; 24th June, 1909.

THE KURA GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).
At an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the Kura Gold-dredging Company (Limited), held at the registered office of the company, 116 Lower Rattray Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, 17th June, 1909, the following resolution was duly carried:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that PIERCE HERBERT POWER, of Dunedin, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding up of the affairs of the company and the distribution of its assets.”
