MINING NOTICES.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-RACE, AND APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF WATER-RACE LICENSE.

No. 102/1909.

To the Warden of the Westland Mining District, at Reefton.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct [use] a water-race for working farming machinery. Commencing at a point about 10 chains up Burke’s (more commonly known as Ryan’s) Creek (easterly) from the point where said creek crosses Buller Road, and terminating at homestead (on Section 47, and adjoining Freehold Block 2, Reefton Survey District), as per sketch-plan filed herewith, and carrying four Government heads of water.

The length of such race is 30 chains or thereabouts, and its course is north-westerly or thereabouts.

The mean depth and breadth of such race is 4 ft. by 3 ft.

The race is already constructed.
