WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 24 of the Port of Puponga. Bounded towards the north-west by Ward Street, 279·9 links; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 22 and 23 of the Port of Puponga, 500 links; towards the south-east by Seddon Street, 279·9 links; and towards the south-west by Section No. 25 of the said port, 500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5323/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for public buildings of the General Government.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 22 perches, more or less, being Section No. 43 of the Port of Puponga.
