Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Patangata County Council closing the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

Consenting to Land in the Borough of Wanganui being taken for a Post-office.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of June, 1909.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” it is, in section fifteen thereof, inter alia, enacted that, except for the purpose of a railway or for defence purposes, or for the purposes of any other public work to be made under the authority of a special Act, there shall not be taken any land occupied by any building, yard, garden, orchard, or vineyard, or in bona fide occupation as an ornamental park or pleasure-ground, without the previous consent of the Governor in Council:
And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the said Act for a post-office:
And whereas the said land is occupied by buildings and yards, and it is expedient to give such consent as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a post-office as aforesaid.

Native Land in the Omapere Survey District taken for the Purposes of a Post-office.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of June, 1909.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Native land, and is required to be taken for the purposes of a post-office:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in duplicate, as required by the ninetieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby proclaim and declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for a post-office as aforesaid; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto, known as the Taheke Road, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
