Trustees for the Leamington Public Cemetery appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrant of the twenty-fifth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and five, appointing Trustees for the Cambridge West Public Cemetery, and appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Local Authority. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
Leamington Town Board. LEAMINGTON (FORMERLY KNOWN AS CAMBRIDGE WEST). All that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Town of Cambridge West, being part of Section No. 54 and Section No. 55, Town Belt, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the other part of Section No. 54, 840 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 462·8 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 205 links; again towards the south-east by a public road, 1027 links; again towards the south-west by Wordsworth Street, 904 links; towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 115, 116, 117, and 117A, Town of Cambridge West, 600 links; again towards the north-east by Section No. 121, 100 links; again towards the north-west by the last-mentioned section, 210, 224, and 164 links; the abutment of Hemans Street, 100 links; and Section No. 48, 173·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 54706, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Trustees for Te Kuiti Public Cemetery appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

ARNOLD BLACKMAN and
GERALD MORSE

to be Trustees, in the place of Henry Ellison and Murdoch Alexander McKenzie, who have resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of Te Kuiti Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Thomas Nicholas Snowden, John Nicholls, William Lorigan, and William White, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

ROBERT JOHNSTONE PALMER,
FREDRICK THOMAS BATEMAN, and
JAMES HENRY HARRIS

to be Trustees, in the place of William Smith Johnson, deceased, and George Henry Patrick and George Herbert Hibberd, removed from the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Arundel Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Hugh McMaster and Edward Evans, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

WILLIAM CARPENTER

to be a Trustee, in the place of George Frederick Carpenter, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Yaldhurst Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Alfred Chesnall, William John Guy, William Johnstone, and Richard John Mason, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Changing the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for quarry purposes, being a reserve within Class I of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” and such land has not been vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trustees:

And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for an addition to a public recreation-ground, being a reserve within Class III of the aforesaid Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the eleventh section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” do by this notification declare that the said land shall, from and after the fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine, be appropriated for an addition to a public recreation-ground under Class III of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908”; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 36·8 perches, more or less, being part of Lot No. 64 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland. Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by Lot No. 56 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, 190·9 and 650 links respectively; towards the south-west by a public road, 340·9 links; and towards the north-west by other part of Lot No. 64 aforesaid, 669·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1256/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine.
