Situated on the sea-coast, about three miles north of Mokihinui Township. Access by sea-beach. The quality of the land—which is more or less broken—varies from fair to good, on granite, sandstone, papa, and limestone formation. All covered with green bush. About half the area consists of gravelly terraces and river-flats, the remainder undulating and broken on western side. The land is very suitable for grass-growing. The forest consists of brown-birch and red-birch, with pukapuka, karaka, and other underscrubs. The soil, although stony in parts, is good alluvial wash on flats; on terraces and undulating country, gravelly loam, with granite boulders; rather mossy in places, but on the whole of fair quality. Fronting Woolly River. Has road surveyed along the frontage. Accessible at present by river-bed and horse-track. Distant about nine miles from Warwick Junction Post-office. Altitude, from 1,100 ft. to 1,750 ft. above sea-level. Sale plan 130.
