Accessible from Warwick Junction Accommodation-house by dray-road, a distance of about eight miles; thence by river-bed and unformed road, a further distance of about eleven miles: also accessible from Reefton by about sixteen miles of good dray-road and about fourteen miles of pack-track. I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by "The Land Act, 1908," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Wednesday, the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to section one hundred and thirty-five of the said Act, as they contain, or are supposed to contain, metal, mineral, or valuable stone.
