Declaring Part of Kawakawa Road, in the Akitio County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twentieth day of April, 1909.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road known as the Kawakawa Road, described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
KAWAKAWA ROAD.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Akitio County, known as the Kawakawa Road, commencing at its junction with the Kaituna Road near the most western corner of Section No. 23, Block VI, Mount Cerberus Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction to a point near the middle of the south-western boundary of Section 3B, Block VI, Mount Cerberus Survey District, which said road is 2 miles 23 chains, more or less; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 2662, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and coloured red, and marked A.B. thereon.

SCHEDULE.
PIPIRIKI–WAIORU ROAD.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Pipiriki–Waiouru Road, commencing at the boundary between Sections 5 and 7, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction, fronting Section 5, Block VIII, aforesaid, and terminating at the crossing of the Mangawhero River, being a distance of 18 chains, or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 808A, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and coloured red thereon.

KAITIEKE ROAD.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Kaitieke Road, commencing at the junction with the Matapuna–Ohakune Road at Raurimu Railway-station, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction through Crown lands, thence fronting Sections 14, Block XII, and 13, Block XI, Kaitieke Survey District, and terminating at the boundary between Sections 13 and 14 aforesaid, being a distance of five miles, more or less; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 1922, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Turakina Valley Extension Road, commencing at the boundary between Block XVI, Karioi Survey District, and Block II, Maungakaretu Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction intersecting Rangiwaewa 4D, Block XVI, and Rangiwaewa 4B, Blocks XVI, XV, and XI, Karioi Survey District, and terminating at a point 5 chains north of the Werakohuru Bridge, being a distance of 5 miles 20 chains, or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 816, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
