NOTICE is hereby given that, the lease of the undermentioned land having been forfeited by resolution of the Hawke’s Bay Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1908.”

Timber in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Tender.
District Lands Office,
Auckland, 9th January, 1909.
NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of “The Land Act, 1908,” and regulations thereunder, that written tenders will be received at the District Lands Office, Auckland, on Monday, the 8th day of February, 1909, for the purchase of the totara and kauri timber standing on the undermentioned section.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
HOBSON COUNTY.
Section 5, Block I, Kaihu Survey District.
96 GREEN and dry kauri-trees, containing (approximately) 188,820 sup. ft. (standing measurement).
10 totara-trees, containing (approximately) 7,656 sup. ft. (standing measurement).
Time for removal: One year.
CONDITIONS.

Intending tenderers are expected to visit the locality and to satisfy themselves in every particular on all matters relating to their tender.

The aforementioned quantities, qualities, and kind as to the said timber shall be taken as sufficiently accurate for the purpose of this sale; and no contract for purchase shall be voidable, nor shall the successful tenderer be entitled to any abatement in price, by reason of the said timber being of less quantity, quality, and kind than as stated herein or in any advertisement having reference to the said timber, nor shall any extra sum be claimed by the Crown if for any reason the quantity of timber is found to be in excess of that stated herein.

No tender will be considered wherein a less royalty is offered for the kauri and totara than 1s. per 100 sup. ft.
