"THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1905."
CASTLEPOINT COUNTY.
NOTICE is hereby given of the intention of the Castlepoint County Council to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, for the following purposes—viz., a roadman’s residence, also a place to store timber and County Council plant and material, also a place to keep the County Council horse teams—certain lands situate within the Castlepoint County, being part of section numbered two hundred and eighty-seven (287) on the plan of the Whareama Block, which said lands are more particularly described in the Schedule hereunder; that a plan showing the said land, together with the names of the owners and occupiers thereof, so far as the same are known, is deposited at the office of the said County Council, at Tinui, and is open for public inspection at all times during usual office hours; that the said Castlepoint County Council hereby call upon all persons affected or likely to be affected by the taking of the said lands to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection or objections to the taking of the said lands for the purposes aforesaid, and to send such objection or objections to the said Castlepoint County Council Office, at Tinui, within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice. And it is hereby further notified that, upon receipt of any such objection or objections in writing as aforesaid, the said Castlepoint County Council will appoint a time and place for the consideration of the same, of which notice will be given.
