MASTERTON COUNTY.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £140, being 10 per cent. upon a loan of £1,400, authorised to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling on the Wangaehu Road, the Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/5d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Wangaehu Road Metalling Loan Special-rating District, comprising Sections 52, 50, 51, 53, Block VI; Sections 113, 114, 210, Block VII; Sections 21, 20, 122, 124, 126, 128, 3, 4, 1, 2, 17, Block X; Sections 119, 120, 121, 123, 125, 127, 129, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Block XI; Sections 55, 56, 57, part Okurupete B No. 4, Block XIV; Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Lot 4, Te Autohirangi, part Okurupete B No. 4, and part Kaioteatua (180 acres), Block XV, all in the Kopuaranga Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Passed at a special meeting of the Council, this 9th day of February, 1909; confirmed this 9th day of March, 1909.

CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and its amendments, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorised to be raised by the Cambridge Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting, furnishing, equipping, and completing a Town Hall, Municipal Buildings, and Public Library (in one building) on Lot 575, Town of Cambridge East, and for connecting the same with the present sanitation drainage system, the said Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Cambridge, comprising 658 town sections, and fifty-one Town Belt sections, containing 1,083 acres, more or less, and being situate in Block IX, Cambridge Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-three years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Cambridge Borough Council held on the 14th day of December, 1908, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council convened for the purpose on the 11th day of January, 1909.

the said Otautau Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Otautau Town District, comprising 860 acres, more or less, as described on page 1819 of New Zealand Gazette No. 136, of 27th December, 1883, and being all that area in the Provincial District of Otago bounded towards the north by Section No. 14, Block II, Aparima Hundred, and the southern boundary of that section produced across a railway reserve; thence towards the south-west by that railway reserve to a point in line with the southern boundary-line of Section No. 15, Block II, Aparima Hundred; thence again towards the north by a right line to and by that boundary-line of said Section No. 15 to the Aparima River; thence towards the east generally by the Aparima River, Section 5, Block II, Aparima Hundred, and the northern boundary of that section produced across the Otautau River; thence by that river to the southern side of Nantwitch Street; thence again by Section No. 5, Block II, Aparima Hundred, a road-line, and Section No. 21, Block I, Aparima Hundred, to a point in line with the northern boundary-line of Allotment No. 19, Aparima Estate; thence towards the south generally by a
