Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
MANGAHOUHOU ROAD.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Mangahouhou Road, commencing at its junction with the Rangitaua Road, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction along frontages of Sections 18 and 16, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, and terminating at a point opposite the boundary between Sections 16 and 15, Block VIII aforesaid, being a distance of 70 chains, or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 5480, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Weraweraonga Road, in the Momohaki-Waitotara Road District, Patea County, to be a District Road.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1909.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a district road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Land District of Taranaki known as the Weraweraonga Road, in the Momohaki-Waitotara Road District, commencing from the junction of the Omahine and Weraweraonga Roads at the south-east corner of Section 1, Block I, Omahine Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction to the provincial boundary between Wellington and Taranaki Districts along the eastern frontage of the said Section 1, a distance of about 1 mile 45 chains; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 2706, and coloured red, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Declaring Lands to be subject to Part I of “The Native Land Settlement Act, 1907.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1909.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of “The Native Land Settlement Act, 1907,” it is enacted that, when and as often as the Commission referred to therein has reported to the Governor that any Native land is not required for occupation by the Maori owners, and is available for sale or leasing, it shall be lawful for the Governor by Order in Council to declare that such land shall be subject to Part I of the said Act as from the date of such Order, and the same shall thereupon become, and at all times thereafter remain, subject to the said Part I of the said Act accordingly:
And whereas the said Commission has reported that the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto are not required for occupation by the Maori owners, and are available for sale or leasing:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers in this behalf vested in him by the aforesaid section four, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby declare that the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date of this Order, be subject to Part I of “The Native Land Settlement Act, 1907.”
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 220 acres, more or less, situated in the Coromandel Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as Haupapa. Bounded towards the north by Manaiā Harbour and Crown land; towards the east by Otamatea Creek and Manaiā No. 1, 985, 1760, and 553 links; and towards the west by Ohoni Block, 6370 links.
All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 24 acres, more or less, situated in the Hastings Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as Tihikounui B. Bounded towards the north by Paekihauraki Stream, towards the east by Manaiā Stream, towards the south by Tihikounui A Block (Crown land), and towards the south-west by Manaiā No. 2 Block.

Directing Sale of Railway Land under “The Public Works Act, 1908.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1909.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that, if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work, the Governor may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
And whereas the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto have been, firstly, purchased for the purposes of the New Plymouth and Waitara Railway by a deed of conveyance dated the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight, and registered in the Deeds Register Office, at New Plymouth, as number 11242; and, secondly, taken for the purposes of the Sentry Hill—New Plymouth deviation of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway by a Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 97, of the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six, a copy whereof was duly deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at New Plymouth, as number 185:
And whereas the said parcels of land are neither required for the purposes of the said New Plymouth and Waitara Railway nor for the purposes of the said Sentry Hill—New Plymouth deviation of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway, and the Minister of Railways has recommended that this Order in Council should be issued directing such parcels of land to be sold:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those parcels of railway land in the Land District of Taranaki, in the Borough of New Plymouth and in the Fitzroy Town District respectively, containing by admeasurement a total area of 9 acres 1 rood 11·35 perches, more or less, being Lots 2 to 31 (inclusive) and Section 1959, shown on plan deposited in the Lands Registry Office, at New Plymouth, as No. 2621; and Lots 1 to 14 (inclusive), shown on plan deposited in the said Lands Registry Office, as No. 2622; and Subdivision 1a and 1b of part Section H, Fitzroy, and Subdivision 12 and part Subdivision 13, in the Town of Strandon, shown on said deposited plan No. 2622: as the said parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the plans marked W.R. 16790 and W.R. 16791, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
