All that parcel of land, containing about 1,875 acres, more or less, situate in the County of East Taupo, and bounded towards the north by Taupo Moana; towards the east by a line running due south from the mouth of the Tongariro (Waikato) River for a distance of three miles; thence towards the south by a line running due west to the boundary of West Taupo County; and towards the west by West Taupo County to Lake Taupo.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

License to a Maori to fish.

"The Fisheries Amendment Act, 1908."

The holder of this special license, , of , having this day paid the sum of one shilling, is hereby authorised to fish for trout for the use and consumption of himself and members of his family only, but for no other purpose whatsoever, within the districts constituted under "The Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1908," as described on the back hereof, from the day of , 19 , to the day of , 19 , subject to "The Fisheries Act, 1908," and regulations made thereunder for the time being in force in the said districts.

Declaring Roads in the Hetana and Waari Hamlets, Waitemata County, to be County Roads.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1909.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1908," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.


SCHEDULE.

ROADS IN HETANA HAMLET.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, commencing at a point on the north-west corner of Allotment Part 257 and New Lynn Railway-station, thence towards the south generally to Allotment 11, thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of Allotments 11, 10, 5, 9, 8, 4, and 2 to the north-west corner of Allotment 2 and junction of road, and marked A.B.C. on plan.

Also all that road commencing at a point on the north-west corner of Allotment 5, thence in a south-westerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Allotments 9, 7, 6, 5, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 1, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, and 8 to junction with road at southern corner of Allotment 8, and marked D.E. on plan.

As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 4865, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

ROAD IN WAARI HAMLET.

All that road in the Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, commencing at a point on the south-west corner of Allotment 1 at junction of road, thence in a south-easterly direction generally through Allotments 2 and 3, and adjoining Allotments 21, 20, 19, 33, 38, 41, 46, 47, 48, 49, and 50, to junction of road, and marked A.B.; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 4865A, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Declaring the Hukaroa Road, in the Waimarino County, to be a County Road.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Hukaroa Road, commencing at the end of the present county road, opposite Section 17, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction along part frontage of Section 17 aforesaid and part frontage of Section 3, Block X, Makotuku Survey District, and terminating at a point opposite Mr. P. Hansen’s homestead on Section 3 aforesaid, being a distance of 51 chains, or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 2894, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Middle Road, in the Waimarino County, to be a County Road.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Middle Road, commencing at its junction with the Motete Road, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction, fronting Sections 12, 13, and 14, Block XV, and Section 20, Block XVI, Manganui Survey District, and terminating at the junction with Horopito Road, being a distance of 2 miles 41½ chains, or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 3598, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
