declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waipa County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 1 acre 2 roods 34 perches, more or less, being portion of Section 83, Pukete Parish, in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, and portion of Section 7, Te Rapa Parish, in Block I, Hamilton Survey District, and being a portion of railway land near Frankton Junction, on the Auckland-Taumarunui Railway, and being bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the northern side of the road forming the southern boundary of said Section 83 with the north-eastern boundary of the railway land; thence north-westerly by a line bearing 313° 34′, a distance of 464·6 links; thence south-westerly by a line bearing 223° 34′, a distance of 272·7 links; thence south-easterly by lines bearing 133° 34′, 149° 01′, and 133° 34′ respectively, distances of 100 links, 225·2 links, and 896·9 links respectively; thence north-easterly by a line at a bearing of 20° 59′, a distance of 108·3 links; thence north-westerly by lines bearing 313° 34′ and 329° 01′ respectively, distances of 841·7 links and 225·2 links respectively; thence north-easterly by a line bearing 43° 34′, a distance of 72·7 links; thence south-easterly by a line bearing 133° 34′, a distance of 393·5 links; thence south-easterly by a line bearing 101° 18′, a distance of 51·1 links; thence north-westerly by a line bearing 313° 34′, a distance of 187·3 links; and thence south-easterly by a line bearing 101° 18′, a distance of 136·2 links, to the commencing-point: as the said piece of land is more particularly shown coloured purple on plan marked W.R. 16689, in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land in the City of Wellington, in addition to land previously acquired for the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The State Forests Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the forest land described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for a State forest within the provisions of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,400 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks V, VI, IX, and X, Tarawera Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Rotomahana-Parekarangi Block No. 6s, Section 2b, and a road reserve; towards the north-east by a State forest and Lake Rotokakahi; towards the east by Rotomahana-Parekarangi No. 2 Block (Tumunui); and towards the south-west by the Rotorua-Waiotapu Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 38104A/442, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
