Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Cobden Domain.

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of December, 1909.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of "The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
JOSEPH TAYLOR,
GEORGE ARMSTRONG,
WILLIAM URQUHART,
ROBERT JOHNSTON, and
HERBERT WISDOM
to be a Domain Board, having the control of the Cobden Domain described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act;
and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Schoolroom, Cobden, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
COBDEN DOMAIN, GREY COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 44, Block IV, Cobden Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Hall Street, towards the north-east by Nelson Quay, towards the south-east by a road reserve, and towards the south-west by a road reserve and by Hill Quay; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1266/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Hukerenui Domain.

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
JOHN GRAY,
WILLIAM KERR,
JAMES ROUSE,
WILLIAM CLARKE, and
WILLIAM WALLACE
to be the Hukerenui Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act;
and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Hukerenui, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
HUKERENUI DOMAIN, BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 14 acres, more or less, being Section No. 51, Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a road, towards the east by Section No. 8 of said Block VI, and towards the south and west by Section No. 4 of the aforesaid Block VI; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 58465/7, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Directing Sale of Railway Land under "The Public Works Act, 1908.

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of December, 1909.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of "The Public Works Act, 1908" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work, the Governor may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
And whereas the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto has been, inter alia, acquired for the purposes of the Whangarei-Kamo Extension Railway by a memorandum of transfer, dated the nineteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, and duly registered in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland as Number 16982:
And whereas the said parcel of land is not now required for the purposes of the said Whangarei-Kamo Extension Railway, and the Minister of Railways has recommended that this Order in Council should be issued directing such parcel of land to be sold:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, being portions of the block known by the name of Onoke No. 3548, situated in the Purua Survey District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Register-book, Vol. 74, folio 50, in the Lands Registry Office at Auckland, and being bounded as follows: On the north generally by the Ngaupoaka Stream, on the east by the Otapapa Stream, and on the south-west and south by a public road, distances of 60 links and 1870 links respectively: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 17520, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
