SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 108 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block XII, Tarawera Survey District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 51799/90, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting Cemetery Reserves in the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts.

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto have been permanently reserved for sites for public cemeteries:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts as the local authority for the Town of Rotorua:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts in trust as sites for public cemeteries.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 25 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 26, Suburbs of Rotorua. Bounded towards the north by the Whakatane–Rotorua Road; towards the east generally by Alum Creek and by Section No. 26A, Suburbs of Rotorua aforesaid; towards the south by Section No. 5, Block I, Tarawera Survey District; and towards the west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 39120/18, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block I, Tarawera Survey District (Town of Rotorua). Bounded towards the north by Sections Nos. 26 and 26A, Suburbs of Rotorua; towards the south-east and south by Section No. 5, Block I, Tarawera Survey District; and towards the west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 39120/19, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Gravel Reserve in the Taihape Borough Council.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for gravel purposes:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Taihape Borough Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,

and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Taihape Borough, in trust, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 87, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 51177/7, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Clive River Board.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for the improvement and protection of the Tutaekuri–Waimata River:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said land should be vested in the Clive River Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Clive River Board, in trust, as a reserve for the improvement and protection of the Tutaekuri–Waimata River.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being Section No. 43, Block XII, Heretaunga Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 44, Block XII, Heretaunga Survey District; towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-east by a right-of-way; and towards the south-west by the Tutaekuri–Waimata River: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 44423/13, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Appointment of Trustees, Denniston Rifle Range Reserve.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise and pursuance of the power and authority conferred by “The Defence Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby constitute and appoint

Captain Charles Henry Jeffreys Brown, Denniston Rifle Volunteers;

Captain John Brown, Millerton Rifle Volunteers; and

Captain Anthony Crispe Cottrell, Westport Garrison Artillery Volunteers,

to be Trustees of all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 9, Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District: bounded by a line commencing at a point 2914·7 links south and 6656·4 links east of Trig. Station H, Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District (the said point being the southernmost corner of the said Section No. 9), and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction along a line bearing N. 33° 23′ W. a distance of 500 links; thence in a north-easterly direction along a line bearing N. 56° 37′ E. a distance of 4625·5 links; thence in a south-easterly direction along a line bearing S. 33° 23′ E. a distance of 500 links; and thence in a south-westerly direction along a line bearing S. 56° 37′ W., a distance of 4625·5 links, to the southernmost
