Declaring Part of Ruaroa Road, Tamaki Block, Dannevirke County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of December, 1908.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council be a county road.

SCHEDULE.
RUAROA ROAD, TAMAKI BLOCK.
ALL that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situated in the Dannevirke County, and known as the Ruaroa Road, commencing at its junction with the Kumeti Road, and proceeding thence north-easterly for a distance of about 60 chains to a point near the most southern corner of Section 1, Block II, Tahoraite Survey District: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 8497, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

“The Public Service Classification and Superannuation Act, 1908.”—Period of Employment of a Temporary Officer extended.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by subsection two of section sixteen of “The Public Service Classification and Superannuation Act, 1908” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor may by Order in Council, in any case in which he considers that the public interest so requires, authorise the temporary employment of any person or any class of persons for a longer period than is permitted by subsection one of section sixteen of the said Act:—
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the period of the temporary employment of Ernest Cook in the Post and Telegraph Department should be extended from six months to five years:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorise the temporary employment of the said Ernest Cook in the Post and Telegraph Department for five years in lieu of six months.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kumara Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council, dated the seventeenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and five, appointing the Kumara Borough Council a Domain Board to have control of the Kumara Domain, and doth hereby appoint

THE KUMARA BOROUGH COUNCIL
to be the Kumara Domain Board, having, subject to the said Act, control of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which lands are a public domain, and shall be called the Kumara Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Thursday, the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Kumara, as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
KUMARA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less, comprising Sections 815 to 835, Town of Kumara, being Reserves Nos. 221 and 824, Town of Kumara. Bounded towards the north by Cashman Street, 846 links; towards the east by Town Belt Road, 500 links; towards the south by Greenstone Road, 250 links, Section 836, 250 links, by Section 836 to Section 845, 541 links; towards the west by E.B. Road, 256 links.
Also all that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being Sections numbered 778 to 814, Town of Kumara, now known as Reserve No. 255. Bounded towards the north and east by Town Belt West, 989 links, and Town Belt South, 500 links; towards the south and west by Cashman Street, 874 links, and E.B. Road, 512 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 1061A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Reserve for Internal Communication in the Auckland Land District brought under “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.”

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section six of “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the reserve for internal communication in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 108 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block XII, Tarawera Survey District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 51799/90, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
