ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for the purposes of the Te Wairoa-Tarawera Road through Te Urupa of Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6J2B Block, No. 5342, 6J2B (red):
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said land, as required by the ninetieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the ninetieth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said Te Wairoa-Tarawera Road; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Declaring a Road at Addington taken for a Road-diversion in connection with the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway to be a District Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that a certain road at Addington, on the Lyttelton-Bluff Railway, situated in the Riccarton Road District, and described in the Schedule hereto, and which said road has hitherto been a Government road within the meaning of the said Act, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a district road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing 2 roods 26·6 perches, more or less, being a portion of Rural Section No. 9, situated in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District, and being a portion of land at Addington taken for a road-diversion in connection with the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway by a Proclamation dated the 10th day of October, 1908, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 78, of the 15th day of October, 1908; as the said parcel of land is more particularly shown coloured yellow on plan marked W.R. 16630, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington.

Declaring Portion of Boundary Creek Road Deviation to be a District Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road in the Awatere Road District described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a district road.
SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARY CREEK ROAD.
ALL that portion of Boundary Creek Road Deviation in the Marlborough Land District, Awatere Road District, commencing at a point about three miles and a half south-west of Kekerangu Station, situated in Whernside Survey District (Road Reserve), and extending in a south-westerly direction for about 24 chains 80 links in length, and thence to its junction with the existing road: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 1339, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

OHIKAKA ROAD.
ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, known as Ohikaka Road, commencing from its junction with the Frasertown to Waikaremoana Road, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly and westerly direction for a distance of about 75 chains to a point 10 chains beyond the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block III, Waikaremoana Survey District: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 9593 deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and lettered A.B.
