Frankton Drainage District, County of Waipa, constituted.
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this second day of November, 1908.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the third section of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” a majority of the ratepayers in the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Waipa, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the said area be constituted a drainage district under the provisions of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the third section of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, and to be called by the name of the “Frankton Drainage District”; and also, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the fourth section of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Board of Trustees for the said district shall consist of five persons to be elected as members of the said Board under and in accordance with the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
FRANKTON DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west by the Frankton-Tuhikarama Road from the south-western boundary of the Frankton Town District to the intersection of that road by a right line running parallel to, and 6 chains distant north-westerly from, the Frankton-Whatawhata Road; thence by the said right line to the Main Trunk Railway line; thence towards the north east and east by the said railway-line to the south-western boundary of the Frankton Town District; and thence towards the south-west by the said south-western boundary of the Frankton Town District to the place of commencement.

WAITOA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west by the road forming the north-western boundary of the Whakahoro Block from the Piako River to the Ohine Stream; thence by the Ohine Stream to the Waitoa River; thence towards the north and east generally by the Waitoa River to the main road from Morrinsville to Te Aroha; thence towards the south-east by that road to the Waiharakeke Stream; thence towards the south-west by the Waiharakeke Stream to its confluence with the Piako River; and thence by the Piako River to the place of commencement.

WOODLANDS DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-east by the confiscation boundary-line from the north-eastern corner of Allotment No. 10 of Section No. 3, Parish of Kirikiriwa, to the Morrinsville Railway line; thence towards the south-east by that railway-line to the Hukanui-Piako Road; thence towards the south-west by the said Hukanui-Piako Road to the south-western corner of part of Section No. 1 on Plan No. 3546, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence towards the west generally by the western boundary of the said part of Section No. 1; and towards the north generally by the northern boundaries of the said part of Section No. 1 and Allotments Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 to the place of commencement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked 1908/2746, deposited in the office of the Department of Internal Affairs, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of “The Public Service Classification and Superannuation Amendment Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council, declare that any place or office in the public service shall not be or shall cease to be subject to Part II of the principal Act (to wit, “The Public Service Classification and Superannuation Act, 1908”):
