District, to the Akitio County boundary; thence proceeding
in a south-easterly direction by the Akitio and Castlepoint
County boundaries to the north-eastern corner of Section
127, Block XI; thence proceeding in a westerly direction
by the Waitawhiti Stream to the northernmost corner of
Section 129, Block X; thence by part of the western boundary
of the last-mentioned section, by Sections 132, 133, 195, 193,
192, 191, 190, 189, to the Happy Valley Road, by the said
road to the westernmost corner of Section 189, Block X;
thence by a straight line across the said road in alignment
with the north-west boundary of Section 183, Block IX;
thence by the last-mentioned section and by Sections 180,
25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 16, 17, 176, and 169, Block IX,
all in the Puketoi Survey District, to the point of commencement;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be
payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st
day of August in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until such
loan is fully paid off.

Passed by the said Council at a special meeting, this 10th
day of December, 1907; confirmed this 14th day of January,
1908.

T HE following special order, made by the Waiapu
County Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order made on the 18th day of December, 1907;
confirmed on the 22nd day of January, 1908.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in
that behalf by “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the
Waiapu County Council do hereby resolve as follows : That,
for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on
a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Waiapu County
Council, under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans
Act, 1901,” for constructing, in the Tokomaru Riding, about
120 chains of the Waiau Road, including two bridges over
the Mangaroa Stream, the said Waiapu County Council do
hereby make and levy a special rate of £d. in the pound
upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the
Waiau Loan District, comprising the lands defined in the
Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every
year during a period equal to the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully
paid off. The rate of interest to be 5 per cent.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and In-
habitants of the County of Waiapu was hereto affixed in the
presence of—

WHANGAMARINO ROAD BOARD.

Special Order.

ABOVE Board at a special meeting held in Waerenga Hall,
Saturday, the 21st December, 1907, resolved to adopt section 5 of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1903”
(No. 36), to enable the Board to pay interest on the Waerenga Subdivision Special-rating District inscribed debt,
under “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” out of said subdivision’s separate or general rate.

I hereby certify that the above special order was confirmed by the Whangamarino Road Board at a meeting held on the 25th January, 1908.

Hamilton.

Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Special Order.

WHEREAS the District Health Officer has recommended and the Minister for Public Health has approved that the following work be constructed: Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Public Health Act, 1900,” and its amendments, and “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and its amendments, the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves (by way of special order) as follows: That a loan of £2,500 be raised by the Hamilton Borough Council, under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of the completion of the Hamilton drainage by constructing the following works:—

900 ft. 12 in. sewer through Sections 274/5 and 285, Hamilton West.

1,000 ft. 9 in. sewer through Sections 269, 288, and 298, Milton Street.

150 ft. 6 in. sewer through Section 275 to Anglesea Street.

350 ft. 6 in. sewer, Clarence Street.

250 ft. 6 in. sewer, Milton Street.

750 ft. 6 in. sewer, Collingwood Street.

280 ft. 6 in. sewer, Hinemoa Street.

With necessary manholes and lamp-holes.

1,400 ft. of 6 in. cast-iron effluent-pipe from septic tank to Waikato River.

Construction of septic tank.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the special order made by the Hamilton Borough Council at a special meeting held on Monday, the 23rd December, 1907, and duly confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on Friday, the 24th January, 1908.
