In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Pukekohe West Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,350, authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe West Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for forming, grading, and metalling roads in Hill Special-rating District (such amount being for two successive years’ expenditure), the said Pukekohe West Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of that portion of the Pukekohe West Road District (to be known as “Hill Special-rating Area”) contained within the following boundaries—namely, starting from the south-eastern corner of Allotment 18, Parish of Pukekohe, generally northerly, conterminous with the boundary of the Buckland Subdivision of the Pukekohe West Road District to the most eastern corner of Lot 3 of Allotment 45 of said parish; thence along the north-eastern boundary of said Lot 3; thence along the eastern boundary of Lot 1 of said allotment to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1 of said allotment; thence partly along the northern boundary of said Lot 1 to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Allotment 2 of Section 2, Parish of Pukekohe; thence across a road and along the eastern boundaries of Allotment 2 and part of Allotment 3 of said Section 2 to the south-western corner of Allotment 6 of said Section 2; thence along the southern and eastern boundaries of said Allotment 6 and part eastern boundary of Allotment 5A to the boundary of the Town District of Pukekohe; thence generally south-westerly along the boundary of said town district to the south-western corner of Allotment 258 of said Section 2; thence generally southerly along a road from the aforesaid south-western corner of said Allotment 258 to the south-western corner of Allotment 284 of said Section 2; thence across a road to the north-western boundary of Allotment 55 of said parish; and thence along the north-western and part south-western boundary of said Allotment 55 to a point in line with the boundary-line between Allotments 57 and 79 of said parish; thence across a road; thence along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Allotment 79 of said parish; thence across a road; thence generally south-westerly along parts of north-western boundaries of Allotments 58 and 58A of said parish; thence across a road and along the north-eastern, western, and north western boundaries of Lot 12 of Allotment 78 of the Parish of Puni; thence southerly along a 2-chain road to the Waikato River; thence easterly along the Waikato River to the point of commencement; and comprising portions of Section 2, Parish of Pukekohe, and portions of Block XV, Drury Survey District, and parts of Blocks II and III, Onewhero Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
