PRIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS.

In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1908”; and in the matter of the taking under the said Act by the Grey-mouth Borough Council of certain lands for the purpose of a recreation-ground.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” that a copy of the plan and book of reference showing portions of blocks numbered 17, 18, 27, 28, 29, and 29A of the Greymouth Native Reserve Number 31 proposed to be taken by the Greymouth Borough Council for the purpose of a recreation-ground have, by the direction of the said the Greymouth Borough Council, been deposited at the office of the Town Clerk, at the Town Hall, Mackay Street, Greymouth, and that the same are open for public inspection free of charge during the usual office hours of the said Town Clerk; and it is hereby further notified that all persons affected by such proposed taking and the making of such recreation-ground are hereby requested to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands and the making of such recreation-ground, and to send such writing to the said the Greymouth Borough Council within forty days from the first publication of this notice.
