The said minute is in the words and figures following: The capital of the Rotorua Motor Coaching Company (Limited), and reduced henceforth, is £15,000, divided into 30,000 shares of 10s. each, instead of the capital of £30,000, divided into 30,000 shares of £1 each. At the time of registration of this minute 20,845 of the said shares are issued, of which 20,140 are fully paid up, and 705 are paid up to 2s. per share, and the residue of the said shares—viz., 9,155—are unissued.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between us and known as “The Manufacturers’ Direct Importing Company,” under which name we carried on business as drapers and retailers at Pahiatua and Pongaroa, has been dissolved by mutual consent, this 18th day of August, 1908.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto carried on by ALFRED SMITH and EBENEZER HISLOP JAMIESON, under the style of “Smith and Jamieson,” as Building Contractors, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 8th June, 1908. All accounts owing to the late firm must be paid to the said Ebenezer Hislop Jamieson, and all persons having claims against the late firm are requested to render same to him.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership existing between LOFTUS HASTINGS OTWAY and ISOBEL DALZIELL OTWAY, as Flax-millers at Waikawau, as “Otway and Co.,” has been dissolved as from the 20th February, 1908, by mutual consent, and the business and property of the partnership has been acquired by the said Isobel Dalziell Otway, who will pay all the liabilities of the partnership.

SCHOOL FOR DEAF-MUTES, SUMNER, NEAR CHRISTCHURCH.

Under the control and supervision of the Education Department.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The full charge for board and education is £40 a year, but less is accepted from parents who cannot afford to pay this amount. In case of necessity admission is free.

By the Education Act, the education of deaf children between the ages of 7 and 16 is made compulsory. A child is, as a rule, best fitted to begin the school course at about the age of 6, but advice should be obtained as soon as any sign of deafness is observed.

The following classes of deaf children are admitted:

  1. Children born deaf, or who have lost their hearing before learning to speak.
  2. Children who can hear a little, but are too deaf to be taught in an ordinary school.
  3. Children who have lost their hearing after having learned to speak.

Parents and other persons acquainted with such cases above the age of 4 are invited to communicate with the Director, or with
