Opening Land in Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided in section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Wednesday, the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight; and also that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1908.”

Altitude, from 50 ft. to 75 ft. above sea-level. Undulating land, covered with fern and tea-tree; black and brown loamy soil of fair quality, on sandstone formation; well watered. Situated at junction of the Tauhei and Morrinsville-Tahuna Roads, about four miles from Morrinsville by good cart-road partly metalled.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Weighted with £117 6s., valuation for bushfelling, grassing, and fencing.
This section was formerly forest land, now burnt and mostly sown with grass; all hilly country suitable for pastoral purposes; formation, clay gravels. Situated about four miles and three-quarters from Thorpe Post-office by dray-road.

Undulating land rising from sea-level to a height of 300 ft., and covered with small manuka scrub; inferior soil. Access is from Lower Moutere School and post-office by one mile and a half of ridge-road, which, however, is impracticable for wheel traffic.
