Notice of Intention to take Land for a Road through Section 9, Block XVI, Lyell Survey District, Inangahua County.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, for the construction of a road through Section 9, Block XVI, Lyell Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said road and of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Murchison, and is there open for inspection; and notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, the Minister of Customs, do by this order under my hand revoke and annul the appointment of the undermentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely,—
Port of Wairau.

Clouston’s Bond,
as appointed and described in Minister’s Order No. 332, of the 30th day of May, 1908.

CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by “The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882,” I, the Minister of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the undermentioned warehouse to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond, namely,—
Port of Wairau.
Part of a building of corrugated iron, situated in Opawa Street, Blenheim, to be known as
Clouston’s Bond.

Approving and appointing Bonded Tobacco-manufactory.
IN pursuance of the powers in me for this purpose vested by “The Tobacco Act, 1879,” I, the Minister of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the undermentioned building or premises as a manufactory in which tobacco may be manufactured prior to the payment of duty thereon:—
Part of a two-storied brick building, situated in Queen Street Upper, on Lot 5 of subdivision of Allotments 6, 7, 8, Section 37, City of Auckland, to be known as
“Pezaro’s Tobacco-factory.”

ARGENTINA.
PLATA RIVER.—HYDROGRAPHIC INFORMATION.—The following information relative to the channel and its approaches in the Plata River, Argentina, has been received from the commander of H.B.M.S. “Sappho”:-
Two light-buoys, exhibiting intermittent red lights, have been established on the northern side of the channel in (approximately) latitude 35° 05′ 15″ S., longitude 57° 05′ 45″ W., and latitude 35° 06′ 30″ S., longitude 57° 04′ 15″ W.
Two light-buoys, exhibiting intermittent white lights, have been established on the southern side of the channel in (approximately) latitude 35° 06′ S., longitude 57° 06′ W., and latitude 35° 07′ 15″ S., longitude 57° 04′ 30″ W.
Recalada light-vessel has been moved from its former position, and is now located in (approximately) latitude 35° 08′ 15″ S., longitude 56° 43′ 30″ W.
The tide-gauge beacon shown on the charts in (approximately) latitude 35° 11′ S., longitude 56° 53′ W., has been removed.
A beacon, the description of which is not given, has been established in (approximately) latitude 35° 18′ 45″ S., longitude 56° 56′ 00″ W.
A buoy, the description of which is not given, has been established in (approximately) latitude 35° 11′ 00″ S., longitude 56° 43′ 30″ W.
Also that a conspicuous chimney has been erected at Port La Plata in (approximately) latitude 34° 52′ 00″ S., longitude 57° 53′ 30″ W.
