MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of "The Public Works Act, 1905," "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and its amendments, and "The Tramway Act, 1894."
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Borough of Miramar (the Miramar Borough Council) find it necessary or desirable for the better use, convenience, or enjoyment of a certain public work executed under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts—namely, the construction and running of electric tramways within the said borough—and otherwise for purposes of public use and utility, to widen and divert parts of certain streets in the said borough commonly known as Broadway and Ira Streets: And whereas the lands specified in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken by the said Council for the purposes of such public work and otherwise as aforesaid: Notice is hereby given that the said Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to take for the purpose of the public work and utilities aforesaid the lands specified in the Schedule hereto and which are required therefor or in connection therewith. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so proposed and required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, King's Chambers, Willis Street, in the City of Wellington, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said work and utilities or by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well-grounded objections thereto, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the undersigned, for the said Council.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between R. CHASE-MORRIS and J. L. FREEMAN, trading as "Chase-Morris and Co.," has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. All accounts due to and from the late partnership will be received and paid by the said R. Chase-Morris.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Meeting of the above-named company will be held at the registered office of the company, High Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 20th day of July, 1908, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, with the object of complying with the provisions of section 230 of "The Companies Act, 1903."

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, EDWARD THEOPHILUS SINCLAIR and ANTONI WILLIAM MEYERS, carrying on business together as Mail-contractors, Coach-proprietors. and Livery-stable Keepers, at Mangaweka, in the County of Rangitikei, under the style of "Meyers and Sinclair," was on the 30th day of June, 1908, dissolved by mutual consent, and that the business will in future be carried on by the said Antoni William Meyers alone, who will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities and receive all moneys payable to the said late firm.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of "The Public Works Act, 1905."
NOTICE is hereby given that the Woolston Borough Council, on behalf of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Woolston, proposes to widen the following streets or roads or thoroughfares, or parts thereof—namely, Manning's Place, Mackworth Street, Half-way Place, Garland's Road, Normanby Street both sides, Barton Street, Princes Street, and Aldwin's Road—and for that purpose requires to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto. And further notice is hereby given that a survey has been made and plans prepared showing the land required to be taken for the said work, together with the names of the owner and occupier of such lands as far as they can be ascertained, and copies of such plans are deposited at the shop of Messrs. J. H. Hopkins and Co., Regent Street, Woolston, and are open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours—namely, on each week-day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Thursday, when the hours are from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said work or the taking of the said lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Woolston Borough Council, addressed to the Town Clerk, at the office of the said Council, situate in Regent Street, Woolston.
SCHEDULE.
All those parcels of land in the Borough of Woolston situate on the west side of and fronting Mackworth Street, and containing respectively 20·1 perches or thereabouts, and being part of Rural Section 101; as the same are more particularly delineated on the said plan, and therein coloured pink and blue. Also all that parcel of land in the said borough situate on the east side of and fronting Halfway Place, and containing 23 perches or thereabouts, and being part of Rural Section 32; as the same is more particularly delineated on the said plan, and therein coloured pink. Also all those pieces of land in the said borough situate on the east side of and fronting Manning's Place, and containing respectively 23·6 perches, 5·6 perches, 11·4 perches, and 2·5 perches or thereabouts, and being part of Rural Section 20; as the same are more particularly delineated on the said plan, and therein respectively coloured yellow, pink, blue, and yellow.
