NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution has been carried by the shareholders of the Otago Granite Brick Company (Limited):-
Resolved, That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and, accordingly, that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that Mr. FRANK DUTHIE, of Dunedin, Agent, be appointed Liquidator.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903,” and of the Wellington Park Stud Company (Limited).
I, WILLIAM GREER FLETCHER, Deputy Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland, in pursuance of an order granted in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Northern District, hereby give notice that the name of the Wellington Park Stud Company (Limited) has been restored to the Register of Companies, and, pursuant to “The Companies Act, 1903,” the said company is deemed to have continued in existence as if its name had never been struck off the said Register.

I, THOMAS HALL, Assistant Registrar of Companies, do hereby give notice that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by two Directors of the Weber Public Hall Company (Limited) has been lodged with me, and that, unless notice of objection be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said company to be dissolved, in manner provided by “The Companies Act, 1903.”

That the nominal capital of the said company is £500, in 500 shares of £1 each.
That the shares have been fully paid up.
That the company has no assets, and has ceased to carry on business.
And we do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of such company.

PRIVATE BILL.
In the matter of a proposed Bill or Act intituled “An Act to enable the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington to sell and dispose of certain Lands in the City of Wellington, and to devote the Net Proceeds in or towards the Purchase of certain other Lands situate in the said City, and in or towards the Erection of School Buildings thereon, and in or towards the Upkeep of the Roman Catholic Cemetery in the said City.”
PURSUANT to the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to private Bills, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wellington gives notice that, within fourteen days of the meeting of the General Assembly of New Zealand to be held next after the date of this notice, a Petition will be presented to the General Assembly of New Zealand, through the Honourable the Speaker and members of Parliament members of the House of Representatives, by him praying and applying for leave to bring in a private Bill to be called “The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington Empowering Act, 1908.”
The objects of the said application and Bill are as follows:—
(a.) To authorise the Archbishop to sell the lands described in the First Schedule to the proposed Bill, containing two roods and thirty-four perches, more or less, being the land situate in Boulcott Street, Wellington, whereon are erected school buildings wherein a school is now conducted under the superintendence of the Archbishop.
(b.) To expend the net proceeds of such sale upon the purchase of other lands described in the Third and Fourth Schedules to the proposed Bill, the land in the Third Schedule being situate in Tasman Street, Wellington, and the land in the Fourth Schedule being situate in Hawkestone Street, Wellington, and upon the erection of schoolhouses thereon.
(c.) To lease so much of the land described in the Second Schedule to the proposed Bill, being the Roman Catholic cemetery off Mount Street, in the City of Wellington, as is not utilised as a cemetery, and to expend the rents and profits arising therefrom upon the upkeep of the said cemetery.
(d.) For the purpose of subdivision to lay out and form streets, and dedicate the same to the public, and any other portion of the land that for efficient subdivision may require to be dedicated.
A copy of the said Petition and Bill will be deposited in the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders either before or within fourteen days after the commencement of the said session.

In the matter of a proposed Bill or Act intituled “An Act to confer certain Powers upon the Wellington Harbour Board and the Corporation of the Borough of Miramar, and to enable the Wellington Harbour Board to acquire certain Lands and Property, reclaim Lands from the Sea, execute Works, and borrow Moneys, and providing for the Payment to the Board of the Value of the Improvement to Adjoining Lands arising therefrom.
PURSUANT to the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to private Bills, the Wellington Harbour Board gives notice that, either before or within fourteen days after the meeting of the General Assembly of New Zealand to be held next after the date of this notice, a Petition will be presented, through the Honourable the Speaker and members of Parliament members of the House of Representatives, by it praying and applying for leave to bring in a private Bill to be called “The Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act, 1908.”
