Land temporarily reserved for a Quarry in the Hawke's Bay Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more or less, being the Waihirere No. 1 Block, situated in Block X, Waimata Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west generally by the Waihirere Block and Waihirere Stream; towards the north-east by the Waihirere Block; towards the south generally by the Pohatuhatununui Stream, by the Waihirere Block, and by the Waitapu Stream; and towards the south-west by the Waihirere Block, the abutment of a public road, and by the Waihirere No. 3 Block: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49257/8, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For quarry purposes.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Land temporarily reserved for Special School Purposes in the Otago Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 342 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less, being Allotment No. 33A, Otekaike Settlement, and bounded as follows: Commencing at traverse-peg IX on Stock Road, situated 2922·7 links north and 25986·7 links west from Geodesical Station, Blackhill; thence easterly by said road 49° 37', 290·9 links; 54° 56', 544 links; 72° 03', 159·6 links; 111° 34', 371·2 links; 86° 05', 796·8 links; 63° 27', 1479 links; 110° 12', 737·6 links; 215° 44', 751·2 links; 135° 46', 1318·9 links; thence southerly by Otekaike Road, 221° 30', 1279·6 links; 202° 40', 4213·9 links; 185° 08', 2759·4 links; 186° 42', 653·2 links; thence westerly and northerly by Allotment No. 32A, 90° 00', 2271·3 links; 16° 15', 508·5 links; 331° 03', 958·6 links; 9° 31', 778·5 links; 353° 34', 5159·7 links; and by Allotment No. 31A, 29° 33', 1140·6 links; 112° 28', 580·7 links; and 16° 45', 970 links, to point of commencement: be the aforesaid bearings and distances a little more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19368/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Land temporarily reserved for Railway Purposes in the Westland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Westland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for railway purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 29 perches, more or less, situated in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Crown lands, 479·6 links; towards the east by Greymouth—Hokitika Railway Reserve, 2158·2 links; towards the south by Crown lands, 229 links; and towards the west by Crown lands, 1930·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 58264/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Amending the Description of a Reserve in the Westland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-ninth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that where there has been any error of description made in any notification of any intended reserve, or where there appears a great discrepancy in the area of any intended reserve after the same shall have been surveyed, the Governor may cancel any notification that may have been made in respect of such reserve, and issue fresh notification in respect thereof, with amended particulars and description: And whereas an error was made in the description of Reserve No. 327, Block X, Okuru Survey District, Westland Land District, in the Warrants of the twenty-seventh day of February and the twenty-first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 23, of the ninth day of March, and No. 56, of the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, respectively, reserving the land for a commonage and resting-place for travelling stock; and it is expedient to cancel the said notifications in so far as they relate to Reserve No. 327, Block X, Okuru Survey District, Westland Land District, aforesaid:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrants of the twenty-seventh day of February and the twenty-first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, in so far as they relate to Reserve No. 327, Block X, Okuru Survey District, and do declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart as a reserve for a commonage and resting-place for travelling stock, being the land intended to be reserved by the said notifications.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres: more or less, being Reserve No. 327, situated in Block X, Okuru Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a cemetery reserve and a public road; towards the north-east by Crown land; towards the south-east by a timber reserve; towards the south-west by a public road; again towards the south-east by the crossing of the last-mentioned public road and by Section No. 243; again towards the south-west by Reserve No. 320 and the crossing of a public road: save and except therefrom two roads and a lagoon included in the above-described area: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 38299/9, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
