Vesting a Reserve in the Lake County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of March, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for plantation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Lake County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Lake County, in trust, for plantation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block V, Cardrona Survey District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57984/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Register a minute that the new lease or license is in substitution for the original, and that the registration of such original lease or license is cancelled.
(2.) All registered dealings in any way affecting the original lease or license shall apply to the new one in like manner as they applied to the original, and the District Land Registrar shall make all necessary entries in order to give effect to this provision.

“ The Land Titles Protection Act, 1902.”—Consenting to an Application to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court in pursuance of Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of March, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an order of the Native Land Court made the fourth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, purporting to determine the successor to the share or interest of Wiremu Rangiawhio Porutu in the land known as Native Reserve No. 5, Omata District (Ratapihipihi), one Henare Piti Porutu was declared to be the successor to the said share or interest:
And whereas it is alleged that the said order was made through a mistake or error within the meaning of section thirty-nine of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894”:
And whereas application has been made to His Excellency the Governor in Council to consent to the making of an application to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, in pursuance of the provisions of section thirty-nine of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” to amend the said order for the purpose of rectifying the said alleged error, mistake, or omission:
And whereas on inquiry held in pursuance of the provisions of “The Land Titles Protection Act, 1902,” the Governor is satisfied that a prima facie case has been established, and that it would be inexpedient to dispose of it by remedial legislation, or any other procedure which would obviate litigation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of all powers and authorities in that behalf vested in him by “The Land Titles Protection Act, 1902,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the making of an application to the Chief Judge of the said Court in accordance with the provisions of section thirty-nine of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” for the purpose of rectifying the said alleged error, mistake, or omission, and that the said order of the said Court made the fourth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, may be the subject of an order of the said Chief Judge under the said section thirty-nine of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

Regulation under "The Land Act, 1892," and "The Land Transfer Act, 1885." PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of March, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of "The Land Act, 1892," it is enacted that the Governor shall have power from time to time to make regulations for the purposes of that Act: And whereas by section two hundred and eleven of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," it is enacted that the Governor in Council may make such regulations under that Act as may from time to time be necessary or expedient for regulating the practice and conduct of business:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the said Acts, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulation for the purposes of the said Acts, and doth hereby declare that such regulation shall come into force on the day of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette:— REGULATION.
(1.) In any case where a Land Board duly appointed under "The Land Act, 1892," has, under the provisions of section ninety of that Act, granted a new lease or license in lieu of one that has been lost or destroyed, the District Land Registrar of the district in which the original lease or license was registered is hereby empowered and directed to register such new lease or license in place of the one that has been lost or destroyed, and to enter upon the Modifying Regulations for Netting and Sale of Sea-trout.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of the same month, regulations for the netting and sale of sea-trout were made: And whereas it is desirable that clause seven of the said regulations should be revoked, and another regulation made in place thereof:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by "The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884," and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
