Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tui Park
Domain.
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth
day of March, 1908.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section nine of " The Domain Boards
Act, 1904 " (hereinafter termed " the said Act "), it
is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by
Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be
the Domain Board having, subject to " The Public Domains
Act, 1881," control of any public domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made under the
provisions of " The Public Reserves Act, 1881," on the
eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and
eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
twentieth day of February, one thousand nine hundred
and eight, the land described in the Schedule hereto was
brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to
the provisions of " The Public Domains Act, 1881 " :
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF TE AROHA
to be the Tui Park Domain Board, having the control of the
domain described in the said Schedule hereto for the pur-
poses of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ; and
doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-second day
of April, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at half
past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the
Borough Council Office, Te Aroha, as the place where, the
first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
TUI PARK DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section
No. 14a, Block IX, Aroha Survey District, Piako County,
and containing by admeasurement 52 acres 1 rood 10 perches,
more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Section
No. 18 of Block IX, Aroha Survey District, State forest
reserve, 3489 links ; towards the south-east by Section
No. 14c of Block IX aforesaid, 1609 links ; towards the
south-west by Section No. 15 of the same block, 3495 links ;
and towards the north-west by a public road, 1624 links, to
the point of commencement : be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 22287, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of " The Public Reserves
Act, 1881," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do
hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in
the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation
of and declared to be subject to the provisions of " The
Public Domains Act, 1881 " ; and such reserve shall here-
after be known as Te Aroha Bridge Domain, and be
managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed
by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
TE AROHA BRIDGE DOMAIN.--PIAKO COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods, more or less, being Section
No. 3, Block XVII, Town of Te Aroha. Bounded towards
the north-east by Lipsey Street ; towards the south-east by
Boundary Street ; towards the south-west by Honi Street ;
and towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 2 and 1 of
Block XVII, Town of Te Aroha : also
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 1 acre and 25 perches, more or less, being
Section No. 2, Block XXI, Town of Te Aroha. Bounded
towards the north-east and towards the north-west by Sec-
tion No. 1 of Block XXI, Town of Te Aroha ; again towards
the north-east by Honi Street ; towards the south-east by
Kenrick Street ; towards the south-west by a public road ;
and again towards the north-west by Bridge Street : also
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Block XXII of
the Town of Te Aroha. Bounded towards the north-east by
Honi Street ; towards the south-east by Boundary Street ;
towards the south-west by a public road ; and towards the
north-west by Kenrick Street : also
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Block XXIII of
the Town of Te Aroha. Bounded towards the north-east by
a public road ; towards the south-east by Boundary Street ;
towards the south-west by a public road ; and towards the
north-west by Kenrick Street : also
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 21 perches, more or less, being
Section No. 2, Block XXIV, Town of Te Aroha. Bounded
towards the north-east by a public road ; towards the south-
east by Kenrick Street ; towards the south-west by a public
road ; and towards the north-west by Section No. 1 of
Block XXIV, Town of Te Aroha.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. & S.
44311/89, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 15 acres, more or less, being Section
No. 31, Block II, Motu Survey District, Cook County.
Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 30, Block II
aforesaid, 1000 links ; towards the north-west by the Wha-
kapaupakihi Road, 1500 links ; towards the south-west by
Section No. 32, Block II aforesaid, 1000 links ; and towards
the south-east by a reserve, 1500 links : be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the
plan marked S.G. 57287/9, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.
