having, subject to “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made under the provisions of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” on the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seven, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby appoint

THOMAS LATTA,
ANDREW RICHARDSON,
HENRY TOBIN,
MATTHEW LATTA,
JOHN McINTYRE, and
ADAM MEDER, Jun.,
to be the Owaka Township Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Volunteer Hall, Owaka, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
OWAKA TOWNSHIP.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 0·8 perches, more or less, being Section No. 111 (formerly part of Section No. 3), Block VIII, Glenomaru Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by railway reserve, 352 links, bearing 48° 24′; towards the north-east by Section No. 112 of the said Block VIII, Glenomaru Survey District, 100 links, bearing 138° 24′; again towards the north-west by the said Section No. 112, 250 links, bearing 48° 24′; again towards the north-east by railway reserve, 150 links, bearing 138° 24′; again towards the north-west by railway reserve, 398 links, bearing 48° 24′; again towards the north-east by Section No. 3, 200 links, bearing 138° 24′; towards the south-east by Section No. 3 of the said Block VIII, 1005 links, bearing 222° 41′; and towards the south-west by the said Section No. 3, 550·2 links, bearing 318° 24′: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 25041/15A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Setting apart Reserve under “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of December, 1907.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor in Council is authorised under the said Act to set apart any specified area of Crown lands within a kauri-gum district to be a kauri-gum reserve under the said Act:
And whereas it is expedient to create and set apart the kauri-gum reserve hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a kauri-gum reserve, with the name set over the description of such reserve in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
TE KURI KAURI-GUM RESERVE (FOR TE KURI SETTLEMENT).
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8,017 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks V, VI, VIII, and X, Te Kuri Survey District, and Block IX, Hukatere Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 16, Parish of Te Kuri; towards the east generally by Otiaho No. 1, Te Kuri, and Waimamaku Blocks, and by the Waimamaku River; towards the north-west by the said Waimamaku Block; again towards the east generally by high-water mark of the Wairoa River to a point bearing 70° 48′ from the south-east corner of Section No. 5 of the Parish of Te Kuri; towards the south-east by a right line bearing 250° 48′ to a point intersected by a right line bearing 147° to a point 1000 links distant, in a south-westerly direction, on the boundary-line of Pouto Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, from peg xci at Punahere Creek; towards the north-east by the aforesaid line bearing 147°; towards the south-east by Pouto Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks; towards the south-west by a right line from peg A (near Trig. M, Muarangi) to the south-east corner of Section No. 5, Parish of Te Kuri, and by that section; towards the north-west by a public road 100 links wide, forming the south-east boundary of Section No. 3, Parish of Te Kuri; again towards the south-west by the crossing of the last-mentioned road and Section No. 3 aforesaid; again towards the north-west by a right line from the north-eastern corner of Section No. 3 aforesaid to the south-western corner of Section No. 12 of the aforesaid parish; again towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 13 and 15 of the aforesaid parish and the crossing of a public road 100 links wide; and again towards the north-west by the public road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 15 aforesaid to the south-west corner of Section No. 16 of the said parish: save and excepting a public road 100 links wide intersecting, and Section No. 11 of the Parish of Te Kuri within, the above-described land: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57882/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Exchanging Reserves in Canterbury Land District for other Lands.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto were permanently reserved for gravel-pits: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said lands for those described in the second column of the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that the said reserves described in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby exchanged for the lands described in the second column of the Schedule hereto.
