NOTICE

Under Clause 223 of “The Companies Act, 1903”: “Voluntary Winding-up of a Company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Maraetai Bricks (Limited), held at Auckland on the 25th November, 1907, the following resolution was carried—“That the company be wound up voluntarily”; and on the 12th December, 1907, the resolution as above stated was confirmed by another extraordinary general meeting, and Mr. JOHN BARGER was appointed Liquidator.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Moorabool and Timboon Estates Company (Limited), (in liquidation), a company incorporated outside New Zealand.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 307 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” notice is hereby given that the MOORABOOL AND TIMBOON ESTATES COMPANY (LIMITED), (in liquidation), intends to cease to carry on business in the Dominion of New Zealand as from the day of the date hereof; and notice is hereby further given that legal process and other documents in connection with the above-mentioned company may be left at the offices of the undersigned, in Esk Street, Invercargill, being the offices of the Solicitors in New Zealand for EDWARD JOSEPH EAGERTY, of Melbourne, in the State of Victoria, Australia, Accountant, and the Liquidator of the above-mentioned company.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which for some time past has been carried on by WILLIAM EVANS DIVE, the younger, HARRY RAMSEY, and BENJAMIN FRANCIS DIVE, under the style of “The Rawene Sawmill Company,” at Rawene, Hokianga, in the business of Sawmillers and Timber Merchants, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 25th day of November, 1907.

The interest formerly held in the above-mentioned business by the said William Evans Dive and Benjamin Francis Dive has been acquired by Albert Guthrey, of Sydney, New South Wales, Timber Merchant, and the business will in future be carried on by the above-named Albert Guthrey and the said Harry Ramsey in copartnership, under the style of “The Rawene Sawmill Company.” All debts owing to or by the late firm will be received and paid respectively by the new firm.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” that a copy of the plan and book of reference showing Sections Nos. 87, 197, 198, 199, 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 230, 190, 191, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 240, 228, 229, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196, 152, 154, 150, 151, 153, 155, and 156, all on the plan of the Town of Greymouth, Sections Nos. 1, 2, and 3 of Block 32 of the Greymouth Native Reserve, and Reserve No. 73, and part of Reserve No. 704 on the plan of Greymouth, and Municipal Reserves Nos. 86, 196, 91, and part of Municipal Reserve No. 51 on the plan of Greymouth, proposed to be taken by the Greymouth Harbour Board for the construction of docks, railways, and other works in connection with the harbour-works at the Port of Greymouth, have by direction of the Greymouth Harbour Board been deposited in its office, Gresson Street, Greymouth, and that the same are open for public inspection free of charge during the usual office hours of the Greymouth Harbour Board. And

it is hereby further notified that all persons affected by such proposed taking and works are hereby requested to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or the taking of such lands, and to send such writing to the Greymouth Harbour Board within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned; THOMAS DRUMMOND and ARTHUR THYNE REID, trading as “Drummond and Reid,” Manufacturers Agents and Indent Merchants, at Dunedin, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 12th day of December, 1907. The business will in future be carried on by the said Thomas Drummond solely, and all accounts due to or by the late firm will be received and paid respectively by him.
