IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto, known as the Morrinsville–Miranda Road, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.


SCHEDULE.

MORRINSVILLE–MIRANDA ROAD.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Ohinemuri County, commencing at a point on the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Block I, Waitoa Survey District, and thence proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction along eastern boundaries of Sections 4, 3, and 2, Block I, Waitoa Survey District, Sections 2 and 1, Block XIII, Waihou Survey District, and Sections 6 and 5, to the boundary of the Native Block Mangawhero No. 3c 6548 3c, Block XVI, Piako Survey District, a distance of 4 miles or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on a plan marked R. 5078, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red, and lettered A.B.

Declaring Mangawhero, Matamata, Kaimai, and Hanga Roads, in the Mangawhero Settlement, Piako County, to be County Roads.

SCHEDULE.

MANGAWHERO SETTLEMENT ROADS.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District and in the Piako County, known as the Mangawhero Road, commencing at a point on the Tirau–Matamata Road, in Mangawhero No. 2b; thence in a north-easterly direction through the said Mangawhero No. 2b; thence through Sections 17 and 16, Block VI, Tapapa Survey District; thence along the south-eastern boundaries of Section 13, Block VI, Sections 11, 20, 21, 22, 23 (creamery-site), and 9, Block VII, Sections 7 and 4, Block III, to the most northern corner of the said Section 4; all of Tapapa Survey District; being a distance of 5 miles 62 chains, more or less.

Also all that road in the Auckland Land District and in the Piako County, known as the Matamata Road, commencing from its junction with Mangawhero Road, and thence in a north-westerly direction forming the boundary between Section 9, Block VII, and Section 7, Block III, Tapapa Survey District, terminating at the Mangawhero Stream, being a distance of 47 chains, more or less.

Also all that road in the Auckland Land District, Piako County, known as the Kaimai Road, starting at a point on the Okauia to Kaimai Road, and running thence through Section 59 and the Hanga Native Settlement, Block XII, Tapapa Survey District, to the western boundary of Section 60, Block I (scenic reserve); thence in an easterly direction to the westernmost point of Section 126, Block II; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 126, Block II, and the north-west boundary of Section 125, Block II, to the junction of the Kaimai and Hanga Roads; all in the Tapapa East Survey District; being a distance of 4 miles 57 chains, more or less.

Also all that road in the Auckland Land District, Piako County, starting from its junction with the Kaimai Road and running in an easterly and south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of Section 125, Block II, Tapapa East Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of Section 124, Block II, Tapapa East Survey District, to the north-east corner of the said Section 124; being a distance of 1 mile 20 chains, more or less.

As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plans marked R. 8336A and 8336B, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Otamatea County, commencing at the southernmost point of Section 164, Block IV, Tokatoka, and Block I, Matakohе Survey Districts, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 163, 162, 161, 157, and 148, Blocks I and V, Matakohе Survey District, to its junction with the road forming the north-west boundary of Section 84, Block V, Matakohе Survey District, a distance of 2 miles 60 chains or thereabouts, and lettered A.B. on the plan.

Also that road commencing at the county boundary, Section E.R. 34, Block VII, Tokatoka Survey District, and running thence in a north-easterly direction through Sections E.R. 34, 35, 36, 37, 94, and 167A to the eastern boundary of Section 167A, Block IV, Tokatoka Survey District, a distance of 2 miles 20 chains or thereabouts, and lettered C.D. on plan.

Also all that road commencing at county boundary, Section 30N, Block VII, Tokatoka Survey District, proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction, through Sections N. 30, N. 25, and N.E. 25, M. 25, S.W. 25, N.E. 23, N.W. 22, S.E. 22, and 15, to the school-site, a distance of 2 miles 20 chains or thereabouts, and lettered E.F. on the plan.

Also all that road commencing at the south-west corner of Section 1, Block XII, Tokatoka Survey District; thence through Sections 1, 3, 26, 30, E.R. 34, W. 37, E. 37, to junction with the other road at Section 48, Blocks XII and IX, Tokatoka and Matakohе Survey Districts, a distance of 2 miles 60 chains or thereabouts, and lettered G.H. on the plan.
