6 to 12 inclusive, and the gravel reserve contained in Section 2 of the Brandon Hall Estate, as shown on plans numbered 1754 and 1755, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Wellington, and containing in the aggregate 8,881 acres 1 rood 15 perches; also Sections 1 to 23 inclusive, and the gravel reserve contained in Section 21 of the Brandon Hall Estate Suburban, as shown on plan numbered 1753, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Wellington, and containing in the aggregate 255 acres 2 roods 20 perches; all the said lands being situate within Blocks IV and V, Koitiatā Survey District, and Blocks V, IX, X, and XI, Rangitoto Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum.
I, Robert Kirkpatrick Simpson, Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 5th day of October, 1907, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Rangitikei County Council held on the 2nd day of November, 1907.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.—Loan of £130, Whareroa Road.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Rangitikei County Council doth hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £130, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” being 10 per centum additional on loan of £1,300, raised for the purpose of acquiring, fencing, and completing the formation of the Whareroa Road from the Ongo Road to the Turakina River Road, a distance of about 2 miles 62 chains, and the cost of raising the loan to be paid out of the money to be borrowed, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Whareroa Special-rating District, as described on page 41 of the New Zealand Gazette of 1907, and comprising Sections 73, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 85, and 86, in Block III, and Sections 94, 97, 98, and 126, in Block IV, Wangaehu Survey District; Section 100, Block I, Ongo Survey District; Subdivisions 4 (573½ acres), 4A (3½ acres), of Ohaumoko Block, and Sections 84, 87, 88, 89, 90, and 130 (Ngapuna), in Block XV, Mangawhero Survey District; Subdivision 1, Ohaumoko Block (1,776 acres), and Sections 91, 92, 95, and 96, in Block XVI, Mangawhero Survey District; Subdivision 2, Ohaumoko Block (724 acres and 820 acres), in Blocks XV and XVI, and part Ohaumoko Block (600 acres, occupied by F. C. Hadfield), in Block XVI, Mangawhero Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum.

THE following special order, made by the Woodville County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and amendments, the Woodville County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Woodville County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a steel bridge and approaches over the Manawatu River at Harding’s Road, the said Woodville County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Woodville County, comprising all lands included in the said county, as defined in the New Zealand Gazette of the 19th September, 1901, page 1838, under the heading “New County of Woodville divided into Ridings, &c.”; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. That the rate of interest shall be 4 per centum per annum. That the cost of raising such loan and the first year’s interest thereon shall be paid out of the loan. That this special order shall take effect on and from the 7th day of November, 1907, and a meeting of the Council will be held in the County Office, Woodville, on the 7th day of November, 1907, to confirm this resolution.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly adopted at a special meeting of the Woodville County Council held on the 16th day of September, 1907, and was duly confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 7th day of November, 1907.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Gorge Road Loan.—Special Order.—Special Meeting held on 12th October, 1907.
THAT, in pursuance of and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and the several amendments thereof, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest at 4 per cent. and other charges on a loan of £2,000, under clauses 7 to 13 and 16 of the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of widening and constructing a road from the Waiohenga Bridge to The Forks on the Gorge Road, Te Horo Riding, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁷⁄₁₀₀d. in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable properties in the Te Horo Riding of the Horowhenua County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that it is proposed to pay the cost
