Domain Board appointed to have control of the South Rakaia Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of October, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” and the amendments thereof (including “The Domain Boards Act, 1904”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and six, appointing a Domain Board to have control of the South Rakaia Domain, and doth hereby appoint

JAMES NEWLAND SHARP,
CHARLES ALBERT CREERY HARDY, M.H.R.,
JAMES BRUCE,
JOHN McLEAN,
LAURENCE OXLEY,
THOMAS MORLAND, and
ALEX WILLIAM HOLMES

to be the South Rakaia Domain Board, having, subject to the said Acts, control of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which lands are a public domain, and shall be called the South Rakaia Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Thursday, the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seven, at four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Road Board Office, South Rakaia, as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

SOUTH RAKAIA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 2986 (in red), formerly Town Sections Nos. 542 to 551 and 553 to 560 (inclusive), Town of South Rakaia. Bounded towards the north-east by Dunford Street and Town Section No. 552, 1501 links; towards the south-east by Pitt Street, 501 links; towards the south-west by Michael Street, 900 links; towards the north-west by Town Section No. 541 and Tancred Street, 601 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25681/42, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 101 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2537, situated in Block XIII, Rakaia Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by the terrace of the Rakaia River, and by Section No. 30133; towards the south-east by the South Rakaia Township; towards the south-west by Normanby Road; and towards the north-west by Wolseley Road.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 50 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2442, Town of South Rakaia. Bounded towards the south-east by Lots Nos. 31 to 36, inclusive; towards the north-west by Lots Nos. 19 and 20; and towards the north-east and south-west by road-lines.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25681a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Mokau Harbour Board.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of October, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for Harbour Board purposes:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mokau Harbour Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mokau Harbour Board, in trust, for Harbour Board purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 11 and 12, Block II, Township of Mokau. Bounded towards the north by Sections Nos. 9 and 10, Block II, Township of Mokau; towards the east by North Street; towards the south by Sections Nos. 14 and 13 of the said Block II; and towards the west by Tainui Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 54896/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Tamaki West Road Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of October, 1907.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for metal purposes:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Tamaki West Road Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Tamaki West Road Board, in trust, for metal purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 24 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Lot No. 55A of Section No. 12, Suburbs of Auckland; as the same is delineated on the map marked S.G. 39215/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Land reserved for Recreation in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred by section three of “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1906,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereunder as a reserve for purposes of public recreation.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District, being a portion of the foreshore of the Hokianga River, and containing by admeasurement 11 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the west and north-west generally, commencing at peg VIA, by a public road, 732·6, 382·6, 551·1, 658·9, and 231·1 links, to peg XIIIA; towards the north-west and south-east by right lines bearing 110° 29′, 496·6 links, and 200° 29′, 2289·6 links, respectively, to peg VIA aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 35927/17, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
