COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order made on 16th day of August, 1907; confirmed on 20th day of September, 1907.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Cook County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing Murphy’s Road, Rotorua Stock-track, the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Ngatapa Loan District No. 1, comprising Grazing-runs 76, 77, 30, and Subdivision 2 of Run 29; Hangaroa-Matawai B2 and B3; part Okahuatiu No. 2, 15,190 acres; Sections 11, 16, Tahoma 2: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 4 per cent.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook was hereto affixed in the presence of—

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Cook County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing a new road through Parematā No. 4 to connect Toloa Coast Road, the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1⅓d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Parematā Loan District No. 2, comprising Sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 50, 51, and 65 of Parematā Block, Toloa Riding; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 4 per cent.

GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice is hereby given that the following special order was duly made by the Council of the County of Geraldine by special resolution of the said Council passed on the 22nd day of August, 1907, and confirmed on the 26th day of September, 1907, that is to say:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Council of the County of Geraldine hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,000, authorised to be raised by the Council of the County of Geraldine, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following public works—that is to say, for reconstructing the Rangitata Bridge, £2,000; for reconstructing the Opihi Bridge on the main road between Temuka and Timaru, £5,000; and for the erection of a bridge over the Opihi at Hanging Rock, £1,000—the said Council of the County of Geraldine hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁄₁₈d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Geraldine; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Geraldine was hereunto affixed at the meeting of the Council of the said County of Geraldine on the 26th day of September, 1907, by John Talbot, the Chairman of the said Council (in pursuance of a resolution of the said Council passed on the 22nd day of August, 1907, and confirmed on the 26th day of September, 1907), in the presence of—

MASTERTON COUNTY.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest at the rate of £4 per centum per annum and other charges on a loan of £275, being 10 per cent. upon the loan of £2,750, authorised to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing a bridge and about three miles and a half of formation on the Masterton-East Coast Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⁵⁄₈d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Masterton to East Coast Road Special-rating District, comprised within the following boundaries—that is to say, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 93, Block VII, Otahoua Survey District, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction, bounded by Sections 575, 576, 577, 578, 588, 516, 590, Block VII, Otahoua Survey District, to the Wainuioru River; thence by the said river to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 603, Block IX, Rewa Survey District; thence bounded by Section 602 in the last-mentioned block; by Sections 573, 564, 664, and 665, Block V; by Sections 666, 667, Block VI, to the Boundary Trigonometrical Station: thence proceeding in a south-easterly direction by the forest reserve in Block X, by Section 1, Block XI, Section 887, and by part of the north-east boundary of Section 893, Block XIV; thence by lines so as to exclude from the area a triangular piece of land containing 17 acres 3 roods 31 perches, parts of Sections 886 and 885, to the Rewa Trigonometrical Station; thence by Sections 892, 896, and 3, Block XIV, Section 1, Block XIII, all in the Rewa Survey District; by Subdivisions 6 and 7, Te Maipi Native Reserve; by Section 1, Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District; by Small Grazing-runs 49 and 48, in
