Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for municipal purposes.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56470/13, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 47, Block VI, Town of Paeroa, 100 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 26 of the aforesaid block, 150 links; towards the south-west by Willoughby Street, 100 links; and towards the north-west by Arney Street, 150 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57454/11, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. As a site for offices and buildings for the Ohinemuri Agricultural and Horticultural Society.

Bounded towards the north generally by Bruce Street and Hangaroa River, and towards the west and south by a public road and the said Hangaroa River; excepting and excluding the public road which intersects the above-described area; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57827/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a resting-place for travelling stock.
