WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.—Notice pursuant to the Provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”
PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers in respect of properties comprised within the County of Woodville to decide by vote of the ratepayers whether the proposal for raising a special loan of £3,000 for a period of forty-one years, at 4 per centum per annum, for the purpose of constructing a steel bridge and approaches over the Manawatu River at Harding’s Road, notice of which was published in the Woodville Examiner, 22nd and 31st July, 5th and 12th August, 1907, should be carried into effect, was duly taken in the respective polling-booths, as notified in the above-mentioned paper, 21st August, 1907, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. of the 7th day of September, 1907.
And I hereby give further notice that at the taking of the said poll the votes of the said ratepayers in the said Woodville County were given as follows: For the proposal, 241; against the proposal, 80; informal, 2.
The total number of valid votes recorded at the said poll in favour of the said proposal exceeds three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded thereat, I therefore declare the said proposal carried.

Forbidding the Registering, Forwarding, or Delivery of Postal Correspondence for the Dr. Austin Improved Electric Belt Company, Melbourne, and Others.
THE Postmaster-General of the Colony of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons, companies, and institutes whose names or styles and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in advertising the treatment of diseases of the sexual organs, it is hereby ordered, under section 9 of “The Post Office Act Amendment Act, 1906,” that no postal packet addressed to such persons, to such companies, or to such institutes, or to such addresses without a name, shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Alterations to the Scale of Fares, Rates, and Charges in Force upon the New Zealand Government Railways.
IN pursuance of all powers and authorities enabling me under “The Government Railways Act, 1900,” I, Joseph George Ward, Minister for Railways, do hereby make the following alterations in the scale of fares, rates, and charges in force on the New Zealand Government railways open for traffic, such alterations to come into force on and after the 16th day of September, 1907:—
PART IV.—GOODS: LOCAL RATES.
WESTPORT SECTION.
Coal-dross for briquette-making consigned direct from the pit at Seddonville to the briquette-works at Westport will be charged 2s. 6d. per ton, including weighing and delivery into siding at works; minimum quantity, 4 tons per truck.

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of Roads through K No. 1, Section 2c, Nos. 1, 2, and 3 (Aorangi Block), Part of Ohura South Block, Ohura Survey District, Waitomo County.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” that the roads described in the Schedule hereto were, on the 14th October, 1905, duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by Warrant dated the 22nd May, 1905.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 10th February, 1906, duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by Warrant dated the 15th January, 1906.
