Vesting a Reserve in the Taupo Public Library Trust Board (Incorporated).

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, 1907.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for a site for a mechanics’ institute and library:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Taupo Public Library Trust Board (Incorporated):

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Taupo Public Library Trust Board (Incorporated), in trust, for a site for a mechanics’ institute and library.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block XIV, Town of Taupo. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 7, 150 links; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 13 and 14, 200 links; towards the south-west by Horomatangi Street, 150 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 10, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57518/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Marlborough Agricultural and Pastoral Association (Incorporated).

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for a site for an agricultural and pastoral association’s show-ground:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Marlborough Agricultural and Pastoral Association (Incorporated):

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Marlborough Agricultural and Pastoral Association (Incorporated), in trust, for a site for an agricultural and pastoral association’s show-ground.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 25 acres 3 roods, more or less. being Section No. 11, Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 10, 1912·2 links; towards the east generally by old course of Opawa River; towards the south generally by a public road, 417·9, 249·2, 130·5, 122·7, and 642 links; and towards the south-west by Section No. 10, 488·8 and 1025·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49340/16, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting Reserves in the Stratford Borough Council.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, 1907.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto have been permanently reserved for the respective purposes stated in the said Schedule:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Stratford Borough Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Stratford Borough, in trust, as reserves for the respective purposes specified in the last column of the said Schedule.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, 1907.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Naumai Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

NAUMAI DOMAIN.

All that area in the Auckland Land District being Section 213 of the Parish of Tauhoa, containing by admeasurement 33 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded on the north by Section 211 of the Tauhoa Parish aforesaid, 3541 links; on the east by a road, 1477 links; on the south generally by Section 214 of the Tauhoa Parish aforesaid, 1449 and 700 links respectively; and on the west generally by a road, 1406 and 497 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 57510, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
