Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Hoteo Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

HOTEO DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section 34B. Block XII, of the Pakiri Survey District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less. Bounded on the west, north, and east by a road, 268, 102, 289, 116, 308, 439, 534, 523, 305, 217, 263, 310, 591, and 100 links respectively; and on the south generally by the Hoteo River and by Section 27 of Block XII of the Pakiri Survey District aforesaid, 500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57508, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

NIKAU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being middle-portion of Section 129 of the Parish of Oruawharo, containing by admeasurement 22 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by north-eastern portion of Section 129 of the Oruawharo Parish aforesaid, 1970 links; on the east by a road, 426 links; on the south by south-western portion of Section 129 of the Oruawharo Parish aforesaid, 4080 links; on the west generally by the Whakapirau River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 57512, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Bounded towards the north-west by a road, 527 links; towards the north-east by Sections 2 and 1 of the Village of Puhoi, 391 links, and by Section 122 of the Puhoi Parish aforesaid, 122 links; towards the south-east by Section 131 of the Puhoi Parish aforesaid, 519 links; and towards the south-west by Sections 8 and 7 of the Puhoi Parish aforesaid, 268 and 392 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 57509, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Bounded towards the north and east generally by Mahurangi Harbour; towards the south by Section 127 of the Mahurangi Parish aforesaid, 1170 links; towards the west generally by the Pukapuka River and Section 82 of the Parish of Mahurangi aforesaid, 1360 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 57511, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
