Land temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 341 acres, more or less, being Section No. 364, Waimana Parish. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 356 of Waimana Parish aforesaid, 6299 links; towards the east by Sections Nos. 190, 191, and 192, 3826 links; towards the south by Section No. 325, 12050 links; and towards the west generally by a road, 18, 351, 231, 186, 169, 370, 249, 836, 680, 205, 212, 480, 383, 292, 198, 173, 591, 440, 388, 406, and 582 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57005/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple. For an endowment for primary education.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Bounded towards the north generally by the Manga-atua Stream; towards the east by a public road; towards the south-east by a public road; and towards the south-west by Section No. 107, Block XIII aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56843/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For purposes of public utility.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Commencing at a point on the western side of the main road from Eketahuna 301·3 links in a south-westerly direction from the junction of the said road with the Hukanui Road: bounded towards the north-east by Subdivision J No. 4r, Mangatainoka Block, 250 links; towards the north-west by the same subdivision, 100 links; towards the south-west by the same subdivision, 250 links; and towards the south-east by the above-mentioned main road to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56981/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public hall.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Marlborough Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 540 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block XVI, Onamalutu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the 1-chain road reserve along the bank of the Wairau River; towards the east by a public road, 1000 links; towards the south by Section No. 33 of Block I (Block XVI, Onamalutu Survey District), 8400 links; again towards the east by said Section No. 33 of Block I, by the crossing of Gibson’s Creek, and by Section No. 41 of Block I, 4761 links; again towards the south by Section No. 39 of Block I and by the crossing of Gibson’s Creek; again towards the east by the said Gibson’s Creek; and towards the west by the 1-chain road reserve along the bank of the Waihopai River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 52530/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For river-protection purposes.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
