Consenting to closing Road, Sections 2 and 8, Block XII,
Kumeu Survey District, Waitemata County.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth
day of April, 1907.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three of
“ The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that a
local authority shall not declare any county or district road
to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be
stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by
Order in Council gazetted is obtained :

And whereas the Waitemata County Council has applied
for such consent in respect to the road described in the
Schedule hereto :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the
above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Go-
vernor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby consent to the Waitemata County
Council closing the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate Area of Road to be closed. Being through or abutting on Sections Situated in Block Situated in Survey District of Shown on Plan Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 3 1 8 2 and 8 XII Kumeu, Wai-taherei Parish R. 8696 Green.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District.

Declaring Part of Motu Valley Road, Ngatapa Road Dis-
trict, to be a District Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
fourth day of April, 1907.

Present :

The Honourable W. Hall-Jones presiding in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “ The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare
that the part of the road described in the Schedule hereto,
known as the Motu Valley Road, shall, on and after the date
of this Order in Council, be a district road.

SCHEDULE.

MOTU VALLEY ROAD.

ALL that portion of the road in Hawke’s Bay Land District,
Ngatapa Road District, known as Motu Valley Road, com-
encing from its junction with Neill Road, Cook County,
and proceeding thence in a westerly direction for a distance
of about 37 chains; as the said road is delineated on a plan
marked R. 2587x, deposited in the office of the Chief Engi-
neer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land Dis-
trict, thereon coloured yellow, and lettered A.G.

Declaring Brow Road, in the North Ruataniwha Road Dis-
trict, to be a District Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
fourth day of April, 1907.

Present :

The Honourable W. Hall-Jones presiding in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “ The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Coun-
cil of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that
Brow Road, in the North Ruataniwha Road District,
described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date
of this Order in Council, be a district road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District
and North Ruataniwha Road District, known as Brow Road
Extension, commencing from a point on the eastern bound-
ary of Section 135, Block VII, Waipukurau Survey District,
and proceeding thence in a southerly direction to its junc-
tion with the old County Road, a distance of 35 chains or
thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated
on a plan marked R. 7743A, deposited in the office of the
Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, thereon coloured red, and lettered A.B.

Declaring Mason’s Road, in the Hawke’s Bay County, to be
a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
fourth day of April, 1907.

Present :

The Honourable W. Hall-Jones presiding in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “ The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that
Mason’s Road, in the Hawke’s Bay County, described in the
Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, be a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District
and Hawke’s Bay County, known as Mason’s Road, com-
mencing from its junction with the eastern boundary of
Section 2, Block XI, Maraekakaho Survey District, and pro-
ceeding thence in a northerly direction to its junction with
the northern boundary of the same section, a distance of
about 14·30 chains; as the said road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked R. 7743, deposited in the
office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red, and lettered
B.A.
