Declaring Neill Road, in Cook County, to be a County Road.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of April, 1907.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. HALL-JONES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.

SCHEDULE.

NEILL ROAD.

ALL that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Cook County, known as Neill Road, commencing from its junction with the Motu Valley Road, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction to its junction with the Waikohu Valley Road, a distance of about 4 miles 70 chains; as the said road is delineated on a plan marked R. 2588, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured yellow, and lettered A.B.

Declaring Plantation, Kakakuri, Waipawa-Mate, and Scenic Roads, Waipawa County, to be County Roads.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of April, 1907.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. HALL-JONES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the roads in the Waipawa County described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road situated in the Waipawa County, known as Plantation Road, commencing from the south-east corner of Section 4, Block V, Waipukurau Survey District, and proceeding in a northerly direction and giving access to Sections 3, 9, and 12 of the said Block V, and terminating at a point about 50 chains from the Waipawa River, a distance of 1 mile 46 chains.

Also all that road known as Kakakuri Road, commencing at the south-west corner of Section 9, Block V, Waipukurau Survey District, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction, giving access to Sections 18, 10, 13, 14, 15, and 16, Block V, and Sections 1 and 2, Block X, Waipukurau Survey District, and terminating at the junction of the Stockade and Ongaonga Roads, a distance of about 3 miles 4½ chains.

Also that road known as the Waipawa-Mate Road, commencing at the junction with the Ongaonga Road at the north-east corner of Section 7, Block X, Waipukurau Survey District, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction, giving access to Sections 12, 13, 14, and 15, Block X, and Sections 16, 20, 21, 22, and 23, Block XIV, Waipukurau Survey District, in an easterly direction, terminating at the eastern end of the traffic-bridge across the Tukituki River on the Waipau-Waipukurau Road, a distance of about 6 miles 74 chains.

Also that road known as Scenic Road, commencing at its junction with the Waipawa-Mate Road at the eastern boundary of Section 23, Block XIV, and continuing in a westerly direction for a distance of about 64 chains to the eastern boundary of Section 17, Block XIV, Waipukurau Survey District.

As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 7741, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured pink, and lettered B.A., C.D., E.F., G., and H.I.

Declaring Horouta-Pukeokahu Road, in Rangitikei County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.

SCHEDULE.

HOROUTA-PUKEOKAHU ROAD.

ALL that portion of the road in the Wellington Land District, Rangitikei County, known as the Horouta-Pukeokahu Road, commencing at a point 10 chains north of the boundary between Sections 18 and 19, Block IX, Pukeokahu Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction along frontages of Sections 51, 47, 43, Block X, Pukeokahu Survey District; thence intersecting 2c No. 2, in Blocks V and IX, Pukeokahu Survey District; thence along frontages of Sections 6, 4, and 3, Block V, Pukeokahu Survey District; and terminating at the junction with the Tutupapa Road: being a distance of 5 miles 13 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 6518, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red, and lettered A.B.
